Better late than never...
No, that wasnt for me on updating the comment late, but yes, its meant for me and Khushi too.
Khushi- I am ambivalent about her stance on Arnav and her marriage with him. But this chapter not only cleared the fact as to why she cant or int accept Arnav but also, how she feels about him, and rightly so. I have had my inhibitions about Khushi's investment in this relationship but, its not her fault if she is only physically attracted to Arnav and doesnt really respect him. The 'idle' man needs to give her a reason to her to respect him.
EC, You have put forth Khushi's stance beautifully 👏. The Idle man needs to buck up and become an ideal man soon to get his Khushi for himself, hamesha
Arnav- God, what do I say about him? He is such an adorable and affable man, that my heart goes out to him. So far, he has only known how to express feelings through sex/ physically and that is exactly what he is doing with Khushi. Loving her and verbalising his love. But that's not enough. I feel, he will soon catch on that something is amiss with Khushi, and work on it. But before that, he needs to establish himself as a man whose responsible.
WORD. You are right. Arnav has never known what it is to be brought up on a loving family. He has had faced abandonment at various stages. When he got his Khushi, he could express his joy and happiness in the only way he knows and has learnt from the people around him- materially. I am sure Khushi in her own way will make Arnav realise his folly.
Anjali and Garima- Two women who have been instrumental in shaping Khushi into who she is and also, the ones who are bonding Khushi to Arnav. Anjali seems white, but its Garima, who might be changing the dynamics of the equations real soon.
Yes Garima seems to have a lot of grey shades in her character. She seems to be very greedy and selfish and does not have any liking for principles that Shashi had and Khushi has. Anjali comes as a very understanding and mature younger sis to Khushi
Arnav and Manohar- I am going to reserve my comment on them and wait for the story to unfold. As of now, Manohar seems grey and selfish.
Akash- Ah, the man who has evoked a storm within and around, even without making an entry. What do I say, the typical good boy and good son. But is he really that??
Well said about Arnav and Manohar. Yes and Akash seems to have some grey shades too. Let us wait and watch
N, kudos for this chapter. You have not only brought forth the metaphor between Arnav and Akash beautifully, you have also justified why Khushi and her stance is reasonable.
And only you could have done that. 👏
