A lovely chapter showing us Khushi's pain and helplessness

The end of last chapter (holding hands) had made us hope that there will be a lot of 'Non verbal communication' in this chapter, but of course the Timing is everything. Unless the issues are resolved, it doesnt make sense for our protagonists to move on only in one aspect of marriage.

However the good thing is that our dear insecure Khushi was bold enough to ask about the dreaded aubergine and Lo behold all her muddled musings about ArLa and the aubergines were just trashed with a very innocent and fitting reply from Arnav. Was this small incident also an example for Khushi to know that her doubts would be immediately cleared by Arnav even if he isnt forthcoming about them on his own?

Yes, the aubergine incident is symbolic of what is to come.

ArHi always had a raging intense chemistry between them even when they were the forbidden fruit for the other. The small interlude between them showed that the desire for the other has always been powerful and overwhelming. Earlier they couldn't act upon it but now they have a legal right to explore the extent of the desire for each other. This was necessary especially for Khushi, to know that Arnav still desires her. Whether it is really love is something that only Arnav can convince her. Our Arnav the ever gentleman isnt ready to act upon this mutual desire unless the issues between them are cleared though Khushi, acting upon Daadi's advise is ready to play her part as Arnav's wife.

Khushi does make a mental note of Arnav's physical attraction towards her. They did kiss earlier, after all. 😊

As usual her insecurities regarding La's confession about her love for Arnav make her skeptical about her own right over Arnav's affections as his legal wife. Arnav has his work cut out to convince Khushi about his so called betrayal of his love for Khushi. I am sure, Arnav will in his own manner convince Khushi about his undying love for her.

Khushi's insecurities also make her compare herself with her mother who was rejected by Shashi when he went back to Garima. She isnt privy to the fact that unlike Shashi, Arnav was always in love with Khushi and when push came to shove Arnav may probably have not married La. He may have been thanking his sheer luck that he got married to Khushi and not La for which he may be thankful to La. Remember, it was La's idea to get married to Arnav and he only acquiesced in La's proposed decision of getting married.

The next chapter will probably be Khushi starting to work and we will see her interacting with her Boss/friend/confidante and Arnav's reaction to the same.
