In the first part, Khushi comes as a timid person, scared and wary of her husband. ASR has relegated her to a status lower than a Head Servant by comparing her to one of the dozens of servants under his employ. Is this meant to rile her and shake her out of the melancholious stupor? She literally shivers under ASR's scrutiny.

What is the reason for Khushi to be so submissive and scared in front of ASR? The prolougue further details Khushi to be an Invincible, fearless and determined, Professional and Pragmatic person. What has happened to reduce her to such a pitiable state? Has something happened to her or one of her family that she was forced to marry ASR under his terms and be treated almost like a non existent person? A Nothing??? N will throw a light on this soon...
