As Khushi drew the kajal across her eyes, she smiled, thinking of something, rather someone, someone's words that flowed, "Your eyes twinkle when you smile, I wish to become a reason for that twinkle one day." Here that day was, her eyes twinkled, sparkled, how badly she waited to see him, to show him her glittery eyes.
She dressed herself in her favorite saree, for he loved to see her in sarees. She carried on her silver jhumkas that he loved playing with. She put on his favorite perfume, which made him feel her presence, whenever she wasn't around. She sported the red lip color, which he said made him ignited. She wore his favorite thick anklets, whose melody signaled him that she was approaching her. She was his. She grinned like a sixteen year old thinking that.
The clock struck 8 and suddenly she was brought out of her reverie, "Oh my God! I'm late, again. Arnav will be waiting for me another time", she sighed.
As she reaches the venue, her eyes are set on their job, looking in every possible direction for that one person whom they have been dying to see for so long.
Her eyes glimmered with happiness as she saw him and she simply ran into his arms. Unexpected of her this act, he got imbalanced and they both landed up on the floor.
