Dear Arnav,
There is no better way to start our first anniversary other than thanking you. Thank you for coming in my life and making it yours. Thank you for making it our' life. Thank you.
I remember the day when you proposed me with guitars in background. I just knew that time that you were keeper. The way you poured your feelings for me, the way you confessed, I just knew I had to say a yes'. It was like you came into my life and became one. Thank you.
When everyone's forever was shattering around me and I was scared that I might lose you as well but you still stuck around and were always there. In those moments of togetherness, I knew you were a keeper. You made me believe in forever. Thank you.
Remember the time when I was really sick and you held me in your arms to make me okay? In those moments of nearness, feeling you so close, by my side, I felt lucky of getting sick. It made me see your soft side, how you cared for me like I was a little kid. In those moments of coziness, I knew you were a keeper. Thank you.
Whenever I am upset and angry at you, you always make efforts to make me okay, to placate me. You message me incessantly. And when I ask you for forgiveness for something foolish that I did, you easily do that. We fight and we make up and between all this you make me realize that I am more important to you than any of the silly arguments we have. In between all the fights we have, I knew you were a keeper. You have always kept me above your ego. Thank you.
When you traveled all the distance across our cities to meet me just for a few hours, you had taken so many pains, convinced your friends and had done what not to meet me. Even I had told you not to take so much of pains; still you were stubborn enough and made out a way to meet me. In those moments of your stubbornness, I knew you were a keeper. You made me realize how much you love me. Thank you.
The way you always smile and blush when you walk up to me, the way you always keeps my choices above yours, the way you eat dosa, just to make me happy, the way you do little things to make me smile, I know you are a keeper. You showed me how our love was not about saying I love you' instead it was about proving those words. Thank you.
Thank you everything that you have ever given me, thank you for the beautiful moments that you have made me live. Thank you for remembering every tiny detail about me, about us. Thank you for not taking me for granted, for always making efforts to make me feel loved. Thank you for every tiny bit for it. Thank you for making me believe that love' does exist. Thank you for making me feel all the butterflies of that first love'. Thank you for teaching me how to fall in love. And above all this thank you for being a keeper' all this while. Thank you.
