He walked out in the open environ and perched himself on a cold bench, isolated and abandoned from life, allowing his palms to rest on the icy surface of the cold metal of the seat. Any or either blow to Payal and Bhai's life would affect him, he knew that. And he also knew that he had to come clean with Khushi about it, if there was anything that was happening there, that is.
He closed his eyes and recollected the moments he had spent with her this said morning, the only moments that were his solace during the brutal day that he had faced today. It was strange how in just a matter of few weeks his wife had become the bane of his existence. He didn't know if it was his innate need to have her with him or just the love he felt for her but he panicked at the thought of her going away from him.
But after all these years of growing up he knew one thing, surely and certainly, that life didn't come easy most of the times. And he had learnt it the hard yet fast way to beat people at their own game. Arnav swung his one leg over the other as he comfortably sat back on the bench with his back resting against it, his earlier unease and discomposure flying out of the window as a new zeal of confidence enveloped his being.
