"Kushi,kushi"
Arnav is calling her for past 15 minutes but she is still in the room,locking herself.He doesn't know what's her problem.After their reevaluation talk he has given her 10 days to initiate talk but she never did that.So , he decided to talk with her today.When he started talking she simply came to room with out any response.This is weird,so,weird.
"If you don't open the door in next 30 seconds,I swear I ll drill the door with drill machin"
In a mere second door got open.An angry kushi came with a comb.
"Can't a girl change her cloths peacefully?"
"Oh .. of course she can but I don't know how you took so much time to change into a t shirt and pajama"Arnav rolled his eyes looking at her.
"My wish...if I take 10 mins or ten hours"
"Unbelievable..are you for real?who does that?"
"I do that .what the hell is your problem"
"Hold on ... why we are fighting over this stupid thing.come sit on the couch I have to talk with you" frustrated that how she is arguing over nothing.
Kushi sat on the couch and started combing her hair.Arnav looked at her hair and got mesmerais seeing her long black her.
"Your hair is beautiful" Arnav told before he could stop himself.
Kushi got surprised with his complement.She never ever got any complement from him.Its new to her.unknowingly she flushed and murmured a thank you.
Arnav got embrassed as it is so awkward. They have never shared this kind of relationship.He cleared his throt
"Why you are avoiding me for last ten days"
This question is like a bomb to kushi.Its true she is avoiding him but she thought he ll never understood that as she was givin some genuine excuse.But God! Who she was fooling?
"Me? No... no I was busy with my home works and house work"
"Do you think I am a fool or what?" Arnav got irritated with her answer.He has seen her movement to get away from his sight.He has followed her without her knowledge .He has seen her doing nothing but thinking.What was she thinking god knows.
"No... ok I was avoiding you"
"Why kushi? I have told you my feelings.dont you think I deserve a answer"
" I don't know.i don't know what to to tell.its complicated"
"Nothing is complicated kushi. I know our past has a very bad impression in our future relationship but can't for a moment we forget that."
"It must be easy for you but how can I forget that betrayal of my sister" kushi finally spoke her feelings
"i know it's hard for you. I promise I ll heal your every pain.just give me a chance. I am not good with words.i never was kushi. I don't know how to tell sweet words to make anyone feel better . But I can assure you I ll try my best to keep you happpy.I ll be a good husband.I ll never ever cheat on you.I behaved so bad with you kushi.i am sorry, I was misunderstood.i was blind. I am sorry. I never thought my best friend will cheat me. Please kushi give me a chance.i want workout our marriage . I don't want to loose you.please don't divorce me.please..."
Kushi said nothing in return.what should she say .Everything is so overwhelming for her.Everything got sorted out but still she is scared to give in.She is scared if it's come out as a dream.First she thought it was his fault to not see anything beyond lavanya but when she thought deeper she understood it was actually her mistake.she should have told him her feelings long ago.She should not have send food throu lavanya,she shouldn't have done homework in the name of lavanya.Yes,he misunderstood her for years but lavanya lied to him for years.If anyone got suffered Its him.He got cheated.
They were always meant to be that's why god has made them marry eatchother.God made everything clear between them.May be Its a sign that she should overcome the past and accept him.
Arnav looked at Khushi and saw her thinking something.
"Are you listening?"
"Ooo...yes.. I am listening. I am just thinking that..." kushi paused
" that?"
" hmm I think I am over reacting too much. I think happen for a reason. May be devimaya wanted it this way.Hmm I think we should work out at our relationship. Hmmm I think I am ready to not divorce you."
Arnav looked at her in disbelief.what does she mean by she is not ready to divorce him.yes he want that but he also wanted to hear her confession.But for now he won't ask her anything.Its good that she is ready to accept their relationship.He was about to open his mouth but she cut him off...
" but I don't know how to work in this relation.And I don't think I am ready to accept you as a husband. I mean..."
This time Arnav cut her,He hold her hand
"Khushi, kushi listen .. we will together work on our relation and about accepting me as husband .Dont worry kushi I am also in same boat. I guess it ll take time to sink those things in our life.I have trust in our relation we ll sort this out together. Don't worry please.we should enjoy new found relation as ..."
Kushi got happy hearing him and excitedly said
"Friends"
Arnav shook his head
"No... as life partner.Yes we ll be friends also but first we are life partners.Friendship will come in between."
"Is it becoz you don't have trust in friendship anymore" kushi suddenly remembered about lavanya as she was Arnavs bestie.Feeling her thoughts Arnav replied
"No, it's not about lavanya.Its just that its real life not movie that first we ll be friends than lovers."
"Yea that's true"
"Lets go ,let's have our lunch outside"
"You haven't lunch yet?" Khushi asked surprised as it's almost evening.
"I was not feeling hungry.And you are talking as if you have eaten it.When we were talking your stomach was giving me proves"
That's also true her stomach was making sounds when they where talking.
"Ok let me get ready. We ll have our lunch in the evening.I ll be back in 5 mins."
"5 mins or 15 mins"
"Uff not again please"
"Ok get ready. I ll be outside.i guess I am in my decent clothS.And about starting our relationship as friends you should know that we are lovers already so how can we become friends first."
Saying Arnav went outside living a stumped kushi.She delivartely didn't mention about their love life but he is not ready for that.He just can't avoid this.
I know guys it's not that good.I also don't like this chapter but what can I do.this is the only way I could have done it.
