I should carefully read what I type 😲. I felt Khushi took the lead in the relationship. Maybe it is his turn now. He may let go of any 'supposed grudge' against Kunal. Her confession could further lead to 2 scenarios

1. He tells her about Akash's plan, what truly bothers him

2. He volunteers to help Khushi in announcing Payal's pregnancy to her parents
