As the title suggests, somebody has fallen hard in love.

Part 1

'Arnie... please reduce the speed, What are you doing you will hit someone.''

Lavanya was trying to put some sense in her best friend The ASR who was driving like crazy on the roads of Mumbai with his new Mercedes Sports Car without caring about anything.

Today Arnav was on cloud nine after so much of buttering, his father finally agreed to buy him a new Mercedes Sports car.

So thus, he was on the roads of Mumbai driving... rather you can say flying this new beauty with his childhood best friend Lavanya by his side.

He cared less he just wanted to enjoy this ride and couldn't wait to show his friends this beauty which he has got.

Lavanya relax, you are freaking out.''

'Iam freaking out Arnie', look at the way you are driving you will cause an accident and harm someone.''

He ignored her words.

Lavanya knew her friend is one rich arrogant brat, who cared less about anyone. But one thing what she likes about him is that he is good at heart and a very good friend. He can do anything and will go to any extent for his friends.

She knew it was a waste making him understand and started concentrating on road when suddenly she saw a girl in plane white chudidaar standing on the road side. The girl was trying to adjust her duppata.

Lavanya saw that arnav was about to hit the girl and screamed...''Arnie Watch out..''

'Smaash bang!!!!!

'What the???...

Lavanya opened her eyes which she had closed due to fear of hitting that girl, when she saw the girl on ground wincing in pain by holding her elbow.

'Oh my god... Arnie what have you done?''

She opened the door and ran to the girl.

'Hey Devi Maiyya'', whose face did I saw today morning, first of all this stupid duppatta was giving me a hard time and now this accident.''

'Ahhh...'' she winced touching her elbow which was bleeding slightly now.

Are you okay.. dear..??

She heard a voice from behind...

How can someone ask such a stupid question after hitting a person she thought.

She didn't answer.

Lavanya couldn't see the face of the girl since her hair was covering the face.

She bent down and touched her shoulder, 'are you fine dear??.. 'We are extremely sorry for this.''

Khushi was still wincing in pain.

Arnav couldn't take it any longer and came out of his car.

'Are you crazy lavanya?? Why are you apologizing to her??

'Its her mistake dammit... cant she just see the road and walk. Is she blind or what cant she see such a big car coming in the way.''

Khushi had heard enough... time to give this jerk some piece of mind how dare he say such things to her.

Suddenly she grabbed her bag, without bothering about her pain stood up and turned back with a force.

Her silky long har hit his face due to which he turned the other side, he closed his eyes inhaling the flowery fragrance from her hair. He was still lost in the fragrance when he heard her saying.

'How dare you??? You arrogant rude jerk, after hitting me with your excuse of a car you have the audacity to scream at me. Instead of apologising you are showing attitude.''

She was fuming..

'You think since you have an expensive car you can hit on people thinking this road is of your ancestors. Rather I should ask you... don't you have eyes didn't you see a person standing on the roadside. As such it was you who was driving on the roadside rather on the middle of the road.

Arnav opened his eyes which was till now closed with the blow of her silky hair. He gave a look to the person who was spitting fire on him and he was lost...

For the first time ASR was lost..., he was astound by the beauty clad in white in front of him.

Is she some angel from heaven. He has heard his mother saying when he was small that the heaven apsaras are very beautiful and today he is seeing one in front of him.

Her long silky hair... which was blowing in the cool breeze of winter, her hazel brown eyes ...which were staring at him full of anger.

Her cute little red nose spitting fire and her bow shaped lips now thinned into a straight line.

He was lost, speechless, he didn't know what happened to him.

Khushi was confused and much more angry. First of all this rude jerk hit her with his car and instead of saying sorry he was yelling at her and now he was shamelessly ogling at her... Whats wrong with him??

Lavanya was watching all this with a naughty smile on her face. She saw her friend staring at a girl with so much intensity for the first time. She thought of taking the matter into her hands as her friend supposed to have gone into some dreamland.

'Hey listen dear we are extremely sorry for hitting you, it was our mistake .. I apologize on my friends behalf please sorry...''

Khushi saw a pretty girl with cute dimples on her face, Her heart melted with her sorry.

With a cute smile she said, no its ok , anyways why are you saying sorry its him who has to apologize but I know he is not going to accept it, arrogant rude jerk saying this she walked away.

Arnav was still lost in his dreamland when lavanya jerked him... 'Arnie what happened?? where are you lost??''

'I cant believe this for the first time somebody blasted on ASR and he didn't say anything rather he was mute... What Happened.??''

Only three words came from his mouth... She is beau...ti...ful... and he walked away to sit in his car.

Lavanya smirked and said ' yeh to gaya kaam se''.

Arnav was quiet all the way till they reached college, Lavanya was observing him keenly. He was lost in a different world and to add it more he was smiling to himself.

She chuckled in her mind, she has never seen her friend so lost in a girl. Arnav was not of the types who will swoon over girls, rather girls used to throw themselves on him either getting attracted to his handsome features or more for his money.

But this time it was different, this time her arnie is lost in the beauty of a girl who not only got hit by him, but also blasted him in the middle of the road.

They reached college and arnav altogether forgot the purpose for which he was so excited to go to college, yes he wanted to show his new vehicle to his friends, but now he was not in his senses.

Hey arnie man, how r u??'' His friend nk wished him along with Aakash.

Nk was a fun loving guy, who always used to crack funny jokes to make his friends laugh, thereby cheering up the atmosphere. Rather Aakash was little quiet types, but when it comes to making fun he also used to join the group.

Yes their group was unique with Arnav, Nk,Aakash And Lavanya. Whole college used to adore their bonding and friendship and they knew that if they try to mess with any of them, the others would give them a tough time.

Nk whistled loudly when he saw the new beauty behind arnav, yes his new car.

Wowww Arnie yaar, she is gorgeous man, when did you buy her??'' Chal Yaar party toh banta hain. I cant wait to take a ride with her.

Congrats buddy'' Aakash wished arnav by hugging him tight.

But their friend was too lost to say something. Nk waved at lavanya to ask her what happened to him to which she replied she will tell later.

Arnavvv, nk jerked him, where are you lost man, I have never seen you like this, what happened??''

Soon the bell rang, chal yaar class ka time ho gaya, aakash said.

Arnav hesitantly took his steps towards the class. They all were final year BSC students.

They were waiting for the lecture to start and as usual were busy with their masti in class when they heard some commotion in the class. Suddenly the lecturer came and introduced a new student who has joined their class today.

Ok Guys, this is Khushi Gupta our new student and she will be joining our class from today and I request you all to please welcome her.''

Arnav was least bothered to have a look, suddenly... when he heard Lavanya screaming...

Holy Cow... yeh toh... wohi ladki hain.''

Aakash and NK gave her confused looks and asked which ladki?''

Arey the one whom arnie hit his car today morning...''

Suddenly arnav jerked his head and saw the beautiful lady in white, who has managed to rule his senses since morning.

He stood up from his place all shocked.

Lavanya was enjoying his look but pulled him back as he was looking totally like a fool standing up in the middle of the class.

Lavanya can you care to explain the mystery about the lost looks of our friend,'' nk asked.

I will tell you later' she replied.

Khushi was hell nervous since it was her first day, she walked towards taking a seat,she was searching for a place to sit, when lavanya waved at her.

She was surprised to see Lavnaya in this class, but then her eyes met the chocolate brown ones which were again ogling at her.

She felt disgusted, hey devi maiyya why are you so angry with me, that you gave me the same class of that jerk''.

She smiled at lavanya and took a seat next to her.

Hi' lavanya said,' iam surprised to see you here...''

Ya me too... she replied not giving a glance to the jerk in front of her seat whose back was facing her.

Arnav so wanted to turn around and have a look at her, but he decided otherwise.

Control Arnav control... don't look like a fool in front of her... you have already messed it up in the morning.

Soon the lecture started and everybody started concentrating.

Nk liked this cute girl and wanted to be friends with her.

After the lecture was over, lavnaya decided to introduce herself and her friends.

So Khushi right?? She asked.

Hi Iam Lavanya...'' she shook her hand and this in NK as in nandkishore ... nk gave a deadly look to her.''

Sorry he doesn't like anybody taking his full name you see...'' she chuckled.

'Woh actually khushi ... my great grandfather decided to punish me with this name but you can call me NK'', he said.

Its ok Nk, its a good name you don't have to be ashamed of it, but since you wish I will call you NK.''

Nk smiled at her chirpiness, she is cute he thought.

This is Aakash,' lavnaya introduced him, Aakash gave a cute smile to khushi and shook her hand.

He is the calm and quite one in our group, but haan he can be naughty also at times.''

Arnav was keenly watching her all the time waiting for his turn to come.

Lavanya you thought of introducing me so last, tujhe toh main dekh lunga he murmured.''

And this is Arnav, as in ASR you have already met him.''

Khushi turned her gaze and gave a murderous look to Arnav.

Ya how can I forget him, Arnav brought his hand forward but immediately took it back as she was least bothered to look at him.''

He was disappointed and at the same time furious too, but he controlled his emotions as he knew he have to be a little soft and patient towards her.

He wants to be her friend and much more and it will take time he knew.

Lavnaya thought the atmosphere was getting heated up so to avoid any further argument she said...

He guys lets have coffee in canteen, we can welcome our new friend too, what say.''

Everyone got up to go to canteen... Arnav so wanted to talk to her but he couldn't as she ignored him and went away with Lavanya.

Whole time during coffee, arnav glanced at khushi and noticed that she is very sweet and fun loving girl. She had a beautiful smile and her eyes used to twinkle when she laughed.

She was enjoying herself in their company, specially she was laughing to her hearts content on NKs jokes, which was now annoying him.

Why is she ignoring me... Am I that bad, I agree I shouldn't have spoke to her in such a rude way, but...''

Did you say sorry to her dude no...then how do you expect her to be cool with you.''

All these thoughts were disturbing him, when he heard her saying bye to everyone.

What the hell... is she going no... please stay...'' he said to himself.

Hey khushi stay for sometime... we will drop you...Aakash said..

No Aakash I have to check some books from library will be late.. you guys carry on, will see you tomorrow.''

I really enjoyed a lot having coffee with you all.

With a last glance at arnav she left the canteen.

Arnav felt so empty... as if something precious is going away from him.

Man she so pretty,'' he heard Nk saying and gritted his teeth.

Nk... hold on your horses... stop being flirty with every girl you see, khushi is not that types, Arnav said.''

Now where does that come from Nk thought, Aakash also gave confused looks to Arnav, he has never seen Arnav defending any girl or speaking so protective for anyone, he was confused.

Ohhooo.. Arnav what happened???'' I just called her pretty so what, she is pretty don't you agree I like her you see...''

To hell with your like NK don't even try that area... She is forbidden territory...Arnav said.''

Whattt...?? Arnav as if you know everything about her why are being so difficult man as such she is not your types you know.''

Lavnaya was watching this conversation like a badminton match and also enjoying it a lot.

Arnav why are you talking as a possessive boyfriend, we have met her just today.''

Ya right just today, but I know her before you so thats the reason Iam telling to stay away from her.''

But why Nk Asked??''

There was pin drop silence, everybody was waiting for Arnavs answer with confused and curious expressions and what he said blow them away.

Becoz She Is Mine... Only Mine...''

He stormed away from the canteen .

Lavanya can you pinch me Is this really our Arnav...''

Lavanya smiled and said, Ya I think he is...and he has badly fallen for a girl for the first time.''

Lavanya explained everything to Nk and Aakash about how they met khushi and the details of the accident.

I cant believe this, Arnav mesmerized by a girl and that too to this extent, Aakash said''

He smiled this is going to be fun.

But Iam worried Aakash, lavanya said..''

Khushi is ignoring him and you know ASR... I don't want him to hurt her.''

You know how angry he gets if somebody ignores him.''

Nk agreed with her, but had a naughty grin on his face, it will be fun to make ASR jealous he thought.

Arnav couldn't think straight about anything after going home.

He was pacing madly in his room, he still cant believe he said those words to NK. What was he thinking how can he say like this...

Suddenly his sister anjali saw him pacing madly in his room.

Anjali was his elder sister and more of his best friend, she was doing her MBA and was helping their father in business.

Her little brother was her life and she loved him a lot, she knew he was short tempered and only she could calm him.

Chotteyyy what happened??' Why are you so restless...??''

Arnav heard his sister and relaxed a bit, he thought only his sister can find solution to his restless mind and heart.

Di please come, I badly need you.'' He made her sit and put his head on her lap, ohhh this was his heaven.

She started running her fingers in his hair...'What happened?? Why my buddhuu chotey is so worked up??''

Di... I think I will go crazy, no I will go mad, both are same... I don't know what to do dammit, he said getting frustrated.''

Ok... Ok... first tell me what happened?''

He explained everything to her, how he hit khushi .. how they met... how they became friends and all...

Anjali had a sheepish smile on her face.

Di she... She is... she is ignoring me and I cant take it... I don't know why, Iam not able to accept her indifference.''

Anjali was surprised, she knew from lavanya about arnavs college life... that how girls used to throw themselves on him... but she also knew, that Arnav never really bothered about those girls, he was rude to them and he never had any girlfriends and he never liked girls sticking to him.

This is the first time she has seen him discussing about any girl with her, and that too to this extent that he has lost his sleep.

She knew that he is attracted to khushi, but she wanted to know further, since from his description of khushi, she seemed to be a different girl a girl with courage self respect and morals, and its difficult to break khushi's silence

And you know di... I was getting jealous of NK, I mean he is my best friend and i was getting jealous of him, I spoke so badly to him and told him all those unbelievable thinks.''

Why what you told NK??'' Anjali asked with confusion in her eyes...

I... I told him to stay away from khushi saying... she is mine only mine...''Anjali was shocked she didn't knew her chotey could say such things about a girl.

She thought of putting some sense in him, chotey how can you such things about her when you don't even know her properly and on top of it she is not interested in being friends with you then...''

He interrupted her, that is what di, Iam not able to digest her ignorance. I want her to talk to me, be friends with me and...''

Chotey relax... first tell me one thing...have you fallen for her... I mean do you love her??''

Arnav was confused, he has never come across this emotion, does he really feel so about her, no... its too early to say that... he has just met her today, how can he love her with one meeting. But then this feeling what he is going through... Oh god I will go mad.

I don't know Di... its too early to say whether its love or not. For mow I just want her to be my friend... I want to know her understand her. I want her to know that Iam not the way she thinks about me.''

Hmmm... Anjali sighed... for that chotey first you need to apologise to her. You agree you have been rude to her... it was your mistake, so you have to apologise.''

That will be the start of friendship.''

Arnav was confused.. he has never said sorry to anyone.. will he be able to do this...and will she accept his sorry.

Well what is the harm in trying.

Remember chotey... from you have said, I think khushi is a simple girl with lot of values so it will be hard pacifying her, you need to have patience, saying that she left the room.''

Here in gupta house again somebody was restless, becoz of the caramel eyes which were continuously invading her thoughts.

Arrogant rude jerk, why was he staring at me, I noticed so many times... he was continuously looking at me as if he will eat me.

I just hate him, what does he think of himself, he didn't even have the courtesy to say sorry.

But then how can he have such good friends, why is he different from them, all these thoughts were disturbing khushi kumari gupta's little mind.

Forget it she decided to keep her thoughts aside, specially about that jerk.

That night two people decided to be on a mission.

One to say sorry and be friend...

The other to just ignore...

What happened...what just happened he didnt knew.. he just knew that few mins back his life was in his arms... he was lost in ecstasy and now everything is empty he has lost her, more than that he has lost her trust her friendship.

Oh god... did i do so wrong that you had to punish me like this'' saying that he brokedown on the green grass of the garden.

Lavanya was searching for her friends, few mins back she had seen arnav and khushi lost in each other and dancing forgetting the world around them and now they were nowhere to be found.

She had a naughty smirk on her face while walking out of the hall when suddenly she saw khushi running out of the garden with tears in her eyes. She was weeping badly.

Khushi... she called..

Khushi... what happened??'' Wait...

But she didnt stop and then lavanya saw her getting into the cab and leaving.

She was confused about her friends behaviour, what made her cry, she was with arnav. Suddenly she thought of searching for arnav, meanwhile even NK and Aakash joined her. They were searching for Arnav and the sight they saw shocked them.

They saw a broken and shattered ASR on the ground kneeling down with tears in his eyes.

Lavanya couldnt see this scene and she ran to him. She got on the floor in front of him.

Arnie... Arnie what happened??'' she shook him by his shoulders.

Arnav faced her and broke down in her arms by hugging her tight.

I lost it Lavnaya... I screwed everything, I broke her trust... she will never talk to me... She left me all alone Lavanya... I cant take it, I cant bare the pain, I want her... I want her... please do something.''

Lavnaya too hugged him tight, she had tears in her eyes, this was the first time she has seen him breaking down like this, she couldnt accept a shattered ASR.

She wiped her tears and thought of asking him what the matter is.

Soon Nk and Aakash made him stand and took him to a bench nearby.

Tell me Arnie what happened?? Lavanya asked.

Arnav was quiet, but he knew his friends wont leave him without an answer and he too wanted to just share to releive himself from the pain.

He explained everything to them how they danced, how he took her to the garden and then the kiss..

Lavanya listened everything carefully...

She was shocked that so much happened withing just few mins.

She cleared her throat.. Arnie let me ask... are you guilty of what you did??'

Arnav raised his eyes to her question... NO... NEVER... I love her, I love her like mad and I kissed the girl I love. Its just that I should have confessed first and then taken this step but I dont know what happened... I coulnt control my feelings... I was about to tell her today that how much I love her..''

I didnt want all this to happen so fast.

You are right Arnie... I agree you love her and hence you kissed her... but think from her point of view.. she doesnt know that you love her and suddenly the kiss shocked her. U shouldnt have done this Arnie...'' Lavanya said.

Aakash kept a hand on his shoulder and said, what about her arnav did she kiss you or did she oppose you.. stop you.

The answer was crisp, NO... she didnt..

That was it, yes she didnt opose, she didnt stop me, she too kissed me it was mutual Lavanya, if she had a problem she should have stopped me or slapped me even. But she just cried and ran away its confusing me what is going on in her mind.

I think Arnie you need to talk to her, clear things out...''NK said.

This misunderstanding has to be cleared...

But... suddenly a fear crept inside his heart.

What if she rejects me... NO... I cant take it, I wont be able to let her go away from me.

Suddenly ASR inside arnav came in light... I will not let her leave me like this.. she is mine I love her and she has to accept that she loves me too.

Khushi... I wont let you go, I Love You too much and cant live without you. I will win you by hook or crook... he said to himself.

Lavnaya thought for a min, the situation is going in a wrong way, though Arnav is her best friend but even khushi is her friend. In these few days they have shared a special bond and she didnt want her friend to suffer. She thought of talking to Arnav.. make him understand.

Nk was excited about arnavs decision, yo... man go and win your girl we all are with you.''

One minute Arnie...'' arnav turned back and saw a confusion on Lavanya's face.

Arent you with me Lavanya???'' He asked...Suddenly hoping for his best friend to support him.

Arnie... I know you love her a lot and Iam with you, but promise me one thing... Lavanya asked''

He gave a nervous and confused expression...

You wont force her, if she doesnt feel the same for you.''

Arnav smirked on her request... she wont Lavanya... I have seen it in her eyes, she too feels for me.. I dont know but I feel she is denying it purposely... there is something she is hiding from me.''

And I promise you that I will find out whatever it is. She will be mine forever and this is a promise by me to my friends.''

Lavanya smiled feeling relaxed. Suddenly Aakash and NK hugged him from behind... lavanya too jumped and joined them.

The friends are looking forward for mission winning khushi.

Khushi was totally distressed, she didnt have any energy left in her for the hours of crying she has done. Thank god her mother didnt ask her questions when she came back from party. She didnt want to bow the seeds of doubt in her mothers mind.

How could she do this? What happened to her, how can she let her loose herself in him and Arnav?? What happened to him till yesterday they were the best of friends and today the whole equation changed. Right from the party started he had been staring at her with those desireful eyes and then in garden he just kissed her, how could he just kiss her?

Dont forget you too kissed him, you were equally lost in him her mind said. No... No she cant feel this way, she just cant.. how can she? Its all wrong, she decided its better I dont go to college tomorrow, I cant face him anymore.

Saying this she slept, though sleep was far away from her eyes... the moment she closed her eyes the kiss just flashed in her eyes. She heard the sound... yes.. she heard it.. it was her own heartbeat.

She got up with a jerk, hey devimaiyya whats happeneing why is my heart beating so fast. She again tried closing her eyes and those caramel eyes reflected in front of her which were full of desire and passion.

Tired she just pricked her hairs and banged her head into the pillow, devimaiyya please help I dont want to feel anything for him, he is just my friend thats all I cant do this... Iam not allowed to do this.

Khushi avoided college for 3.. 4 days, she didnt had the guts to answer his questions, but how long can she ignore him.

On the other hand Arnav was too upset, he wanted to talk to her see her atleast ask her why she ran away like this, more than that he wanted to confess that she is everything to him and he just cant stay away from her.

Finally the day came when khushi decided to go college as her mother had started suspecting whats the problem going on with her.

She reached college with nervousness all in her heart and mind. Hey devimaiyya please dont bring him infront of me, i dont want to see him...she closed her eyes while praying only to open to those caramel eyes which were haunting her day and night. Dhak ... Dhak.. Dhak Dhak...her heart started beating with a speed unknown.

There was a smile on his face as if he has waited for her till eternity. He slowly started advancing towards her.. she gulped but decided to have courage and she walked to pass by him.

He was shocked, she just walked away without even saying hi to him... Mr ASR what did you expect she will come running into your arms, you have created the mess and now you have to solve it his mind said.

He started following her, khushi... he called, khushi... listen to me I want to talk...'' but she didnt listen and was walking as fast as possible as if she will stop and he will eat her up.

Arnav had enough his temper was loosing again all his resolution of being calm was slipping away he had waited for her these days and was desperate to talk to her and now she is just ignoring him as if he doesnt exist.

Suddenly he grabbed her to the lab and closed the door. Khushi was socked and scared.

What the hell you thing you are doing Arnav?'' Leave me.. let me go..

He pinned her to the wall and said... why are you ignoring me?'' I have been calling you since long and you were running away... I said I want to talk to you''.

Khushi's anger reached no bounds, but I dont want to listen anything just leave me I say.''

He came closer trapping her between him and the wall. No way khushi I have been waiting for you since three days now I cant wait anymore''.

She knew he is not going listen or let her go so soon, hence she decided to face him and listen to him, she wanted to end this full and final.

Tell me what you want to say?'' She said straightening herself with courage looking into his eyes.

Suddenly he saw a different khushi in front of him emotionless and fiery.

Khushi... what i wanted to say is..., he became nervous all again he removed his hands from the wall, but she didnt leave or run away.

Arnav please say soon I have to attend class.''

Khushi that day... whatever happened... between us the kiss... '

She closed her eyes and then opened to give him a harsh reply... 'Look arnav whatever happened it was wrong, it shouldnt have happened and its better that we stay away form each other hereon. Please... its a request''.

But khushi... let me explain its not what you think...''

No arnav i know it was just a mistake and we should just let it go and not give much importance to it.''

He gritted his teeth and grabbed her shoulders, it was not a mistake dammit, you and I we both know what happened was mutual... and it was beautiful''.

He again jerked her, no way... Iam not letting you go like this without even listening to what I want to say.''

'I know Arnav such kind of fantasies happen in college life its better we forget it. There can be nothing between us its not possible.''

How can you say that khushi??'' Is it so easy for you to forget everything it was not just a kiss dammit, there was something special between us, we both felt it that day and now you just want to ignore your feelings''.

She gave a shocked expression... what did he say... what did he just say ... he loves me.. how can he say this.. no this is wrong...this is just wrong.
