PART 24

Aman and Pooja got married and their wedding reception was going on in the rrof garden of Raizada buidings..Arnav and Aakash were receiving the guests.The whole Raizada family including shyam's parents, Kishore's parents, Khushi's family except Buaji and Shashi were there. Khushi was with the Raizada staff and they were asking her about her wedding.Arnav and Khushi were exchanging glances every now and then.Khushi was wearing a light orange saree which was one of the most suitable colour for her.Arnav wanted to take her in his arms.He was looking dashing in his light green shirt with matching suit.While every one was busy chatting with each other, Arnav sent a message to Khushi to come down to his private room adjoining his office.

She reached there.He closed the door and hugged her in such a way that she could not breathe.

Khushi:Arnavji..please

Arnav: Ten more days for our marriage.

Khushi:So..?

Arnav:We have to enjoy the moments before the marriage.

Khushi:So after marriage no enjoyment?

Arnav looked her meaningfully. She became very shy and hid her face in his chest.

Khushi:Arnav ji, I didn't mean that.

Arnav:What?

Khushi raised her face to him.He kissed her on her eyes,cheeks and lips.

Khushi:Arnav ji...

Arnav:Khushi...I love you...Don't leave me alone...

They were in each other's arms and Khushi and Khushi was resting her head on his shoulders.

Khushi:Arnav ji...I'm worried about Payal.Her marriage has not taken place yet.

Nani:Manorama,What was your position before your marriage?

Manorama felt as though she got a slap .She kept quiet.

Thus roka ceremony of Aakash and Kishore was done befor Arnav's marriage.Aman and Pooja were too happy to accept Aakash as their brother in law.

After the roka Arnav talked to Payal:I'm sorry for everything.I was really repenting on what I've done to you but now I'm happy.

Payal:Now I've no regrets ...God has given me a person who loves me for what I am.I m lucky and thank you for every thing you have done for us especially for Pappa and for making Khushi happy.

Shashi was brought from hospital.Every one was happy to see that Shashi was responding to people.Garima told him every thing that happened when he was in hospital but didn't mention about Navin.

It was the day of Khushi's mehendi.The ladies of Raizada family, Pooja and Thanu were present.As the mehendi was going on Arnav entered her house.Nani and Buaji were shocked .

Nani:Chote, why are you here?

Arnav:To see Khushi

Buaji :Arnav Babua, this is wrong.

"We are also here".Every one turned to see who that was.They saw Aakash and Kishore.Buaji behaved in a funny way that every one laughed.

Anjali:Young generation does not believe in orthodox customs Buaji.Let them enjoy.

Nani was totally annoyed.

Arnav had eyes only for Khushi.She was wearing a yellow with red lehenga and was looking extremely beautiful.Arnav was not allowed to go near her.She was looking at him mischievously.After the function every one was saying good bye to each other and Arnav went near Khushi to see what is written in her right palm.She was behaving naughty by covering her palms with dupatta.Anjali was watching this.

Anjali came and asked :Khushi, let me see your hands.

Arnav slowly came near Khushi.But Nani's voice stopped him.

Nani:Chote, You can't see what is written in her hands before wedding.

Arnav was annoyed.khushi smiled mischievously.

Buaji:Oh god, Khushi all the mehendi will be in the lehenga now.Remove your dupatta from your hands.

Khushi:It is getting dry buaji.

A totally annoyed Arnav went to sleep that night.Khushi called him.But he didn't answer at first.

She gave him a message which he couln't resist.

"Arnav ...pick up the call and give me a ...she showed the sign of a kiss.

Arnav:You were cruel to me today.You didn't allow me to see the mehendi, didn't allow me to kiss you.

Khushi:This wait is exciting and sweet know Arnav ji?

Arnav:In a way Khushi...now only 6 more days.After that we'll always be together.I can't wait.

Khushi:Now pappa is also happy.Pappa doesn't know about that man coming and asking for me.

Arnav:We will tell him when he comes back to his usual self.

Arnav was shivering with anger.He took his phone and contacted someone.

The mobiles in Raizada,Gupta and Aman's families were ringing without a stop.Every one wanted to know the truth.In Gupta family no one except Khushi had any idea about Ridhika.They were in a panic.Shashi was asking what was going on.Garima was crying and Buaji was cursing.Payal asked Khushi whether she knows anything.Khushi asked them to keep quiet and explained what Arnav told her.Buaji was crying and saying:Oh god, what bad omen is there on these two girls?please take care of them.

They heard a car stopping in front of their house.They saw Arnav coming to their house.Arnav saw the worried faces.

Arnav:Please don't worry.This is done to spoil my name.In a way it is a punishment for what I've done to Khushi.Now please listen to what I say.Whatever any one say or ask please don't reply.There are only 6 more days for the marriage.We've to be careful.My men will be near your house.Don't worry.

He just touched Khushi's hand and left.

Eventhough it was a relief they were very annoyed about Khushi's name again coming in the gossip.

Payal:Amma,this happens when the bride or bride groom is a popular figure.Arnav ji will see to every thing.Don't worry.

Aman and others were impatiently waiting for him. Aman:Arnav where were you?

Aman:That bitch is upto something.What are you going to do?

Arnav:Nothing,it is done to provocate me.We will not respond to any queries related to the gossip.

Syam:Exactly.

Arnav:All of you behave normal.

At both houses the marriage preparations went on well

PART 25(The night in the cottage)

The next day morning Khushi went with Payal to the near by temple.The security also went with them.But he was waiting outside in the car.After the Pooja both of them were walking to the car .Suddenly a car halted near Khushi and pushed her inside.Payal screamed and ran after the car.The security called Arnav and followed the car .Payal fainted and it was the locals who took her home.She told every thing to Garima and Buaji.The phone in Khushi's house rang continuously.Garima was crying loudly.Payal took the phone.A male voice said:Don't call police .She will come back safe if you are not oversmart.Other wise you won't see her again."

Payal called Arnav.He was not picking up the call.At Raizada family Arnav , Shyam and others got the same call as received by Payal.Anjali was crying bitterly.Arnav was not at home.He came 2 hrs later.No one even Aman dared to talk to Arnav.Such was the look on his face.He picked up his phone in front of every one and called Ridhika.

Ridhika:Hello, Arnav.at last you called me.

Arnav:Where are you?

Arnav:Okay, I'm ready for a compromise.What do you want?

Ridhika:You..

Arnav:Yes...where?

She gave a laugh that urged Arnav to strangle her.

Ridhika:So the media done the magic ...I'll wait for you ..She mentioned the place for him to come.She continued:And Arnav, don't play oversmart.Otherwise you will suffer.

Arnav:Aman, please come with me.

Arnav reached Ridhika's place.Before opening the door she made sure that there was no one with Arnav.Arnav entered the room and sat on a chair there.He was altogether in a different mood.

Arnav hugged Ridhika and asked her:Ridhika Why are you doing this to me?

she tried to kiss him.

Ridhika laughed:I could not forget you.

Arnav:Why did you give the news to the media?

Ridhika:I was sure that at least by seeing the old photograph ,you will recall the old days.And to tell you the truth I want money and fame.

Arnav said in his husky voice.I was not going to marry her.It was all a drama.

She tried to drag him to her cot.

Arnav:No..Ridhika not here.This place is not safe.We'll go to my hiding place.

Ridhika laughed softly.

Arnav:let us go.

Arnav and Ridhika went in his car to an old cottage,away from the town.

She went with Arnav to the cottage .

Ridhika:What place is this Arnav?

Arnav:This is my cottage adjoining my farm.

He opened a room and to Ridhika's shock she saw Khushi lying on a mat on the floor.

Ridhika shouted:Arnav, What is this?Why is she here?

Arnav gave a villanious smile.Khushi opened her eyes ansd stared at Arnav.She called: Arnav ji.

Arnav:Ridhika, she once cheated me, So I wanted to show her what really cheating means.Her family thinks that somebody kidnapped her.Actually it is me who took her here.

Ridhika hugged Arnav.

Khushi stood up and then said:No..you can't do this to me.

Arnav:Why not?

Ridhika went near Khushi.Khushi shouted:Don't come near me.

Ridhika laughed.

Arnav went back to the door.He stood there and said:She is a nuisance .What should we do?

Ridhika:Finish her.

Khushi could not believe what was going on.She was screaming with mental agony and fear.

Ridhika:Don't worry Arnav.

She went near Khushi and stretched her hands towards Khushi's neck.She stepped back.She screamed:Arnav ..ji

Arnav went from the room.

Ridhika slowly began to tighten her hold over Khushi.

Khushi screamed:No...

The next moment Ridhika was pushed aside and Khushi was in Arnav's arms.

Khushi was trying tp push Arnav away.

Ridhika was too astonished to respond.

Arnav called:Aman, Karan ,please come.

He hugged and kissed Khushi on her forehead:Sorry, my love.

Arnav:I told you bitch, I'm not the same Arnav you saw years back.

Aman:I'll go with them.He looked at Arnav .

They all left.

Arnav took his mobile and first called Garima and Anjali and told that Khushi is safe with him.

He slowly looked at Khushi.

She was looking at him in sucha way that he became really afraid.She was staring and shivering with rage.She looked around and saw a belt hanging on the wall.She took it and began to beat him.He caught hold of her hand and threw the belt away and kissed her .She tried to push him away but he strengthened his hold and kissed her so hard that she felt weak.At last when he raised his head she was crying bitterly.He said:I'm sorry my love..my jaan,I'm extremely sorry.I told you when I brought you here that I'm going to do a drama know?

Khushi said while sobbing:But Arnav ji...I was so afraid.Your expressions..your acting...then she trying to strangle me...Then she hugged you.I can't bear it.

Arnav hugged her tightly.

Arnav:No..my love..please don't cry.I can't bear it.I wanted to wipe out that bloody bi...

Khushi put her fingers on his lips.

Khushi :Arnav ji...

Arnav:Hmm.

Khushi:I'm hungry.It's already evening.

After food she wanted to see the entire place.Arnav took her around and it was getting dark.She saw a small farm house at the other end.She dragged him there.

Arnav:It's getting late Khushi and sometimes at night there won't be electricity.Let us go

Khushi.:Arnav ji...I want to see.

They entered the farm house.It was neat and tidy.There were two rooms.She could see very old but well maintained furniture ans vessels.

Khushi:Arnav ji..who takes care of this?It's very nostalgic.

Arnav:A care taker is there.He comes thrice in a week.My father used to come here with me in my childhood.

She entered the room where there was an old mahagony cot , a table and an old cupboard.It reminded her of a place she read in stories.The light was very dim.She opened the window.A cool breeze came inside.Arnav was watching her. She looked beautiful in the green saree.Her hair was open .The cool breeze made her saree move away from her body showing her belly and the thin blouse showed clearly the shape of her breasts.Arnav quickly looked away.Khushi turned and looked at Arnav.He was looking breathtakingly handsome in the white and black casuals.

It was getting dark and there was total silence.A song was coming in the air from some where.Khushi slowly moved towards him and looked into his eyes.

Arnav:Khushi...

She pressed her body to him and put her hands on his neck and pressed her lips on him.

Arnav:Khushi..no ..we'll go

Khushi whispered:No...Today I want to be fully yours.

Arnav:No..Khushi ..I know you don't like it before marriage..no..

Khushi again pressed her lips on him and said:Arnav ji..make me yours.

Arnav:No..Khushi..I'll wait

Khushi:I want our first night here Arnav ji...It's very nostalgic.

Arnav:No..Khushi...

Khushi slowly unbuttoned his shirt and kissed his chest and neck.Arnav could not control himself.He pulled her so roughly into his arms that she gave a little cry.:Are you sure?She nodded.So he picked her up in his arms and laid her on the cot.He looked at her with so much love and passion.She drew him towards her.He kissed her neck which made her to make a sound that aroused him.He slowly removed her ear rings and saree and kissed her ears , neck and then his lips touched her breasts.She was lying in such an ecstasy that her eyes were half closed.She suddenly felt shy so she hugged him and hid her face against his shoulders.His heart was beating violently against hers.

Arnav whispered:Khushi..are you ready? Khushi...are you afraid?

Khushi: a little

Arnav:I can wait...

Khushi kissed him on his eyes and said:I trust you more than myself and I need you Arnav ji.

His fiercely passionate lips sought hers .

He began to undress her.

Khushi:Arnav ji...light...

Arnav:I want to see you...
