Yes, I'm glad you enjoyed the twist. This was something I had planned from when I first started this fanfiction so so long ago. Lavanya, after all, is human. Everyone has her flaws and although she is trying to put her errant thoughts to rest but she has insecurities. She's trying her best, but will her best be enough? 😉

I have always suspected that Khushi comes from a rich family because NK said once that Khushi has business in her blood.

Thank you, it means a lot. Thank you for continuing to read ! I wanted Khushi's character a little stronger in my fan fiction, not that she wasn't in the show but as a woman whose able to acknowledge that she can hold a grudge or harbor negative feelings and they are legitimate for her to have.

I made you guys wait way too long so of course I had to give you two updates :D ;)

Oh MR.ASR ! His reaction will be definitely his own but I think it might be a few more updates where it's revealed !

Lavanya is a human, she's a good person but that doesn't mean she can't have insecurities. Like mentioned in the update, her parents focused on using her as a mean to make money --- so when NK came along and loved her without any reason but love itself, it's hard for her to be completely secure with the relationship -- especially when she took so long to accept it.

The guy is her ex-fiance. He made an appearance again and when talks about not having anything happen again she is referring to the incident (abuse&assault) she went through which was mentioned in the flashback (Part 5 I believe)
