Second Teaser- Part 11

Feeling on the verge of tears, she looked annoyed at him too, for it was not entire her fault and he won't admit his own. So she lashed out defensively, "I didn't ask you to give me ride in the first place, Arnav. I told you I can walk, but you didn't listen to me." She saw him fuming as his nostrils flared in anger, and he threw a warning look in her direction, but she continued, "Who told you to wait for me? From my side, you could have left anytime." She declared.

Maybe I should have just done that." He lashed back angrily, "I should have remembered how you like to make fool of people." She frowned at that statement, as she had no clue what he was talking about and then he said some more in a derisive tone, "Don't worry next time I won't waste my time over you. I have other more important things in my life." Somehow that hurt her as tears started to smarten her eyes again, she knew he was talking about more important people in his life and of course she was nowhere in that count. Refusing to break down in front of him she looked out of the window and said in a husky whisper. "You don't have to worry about me next time Arnav. My fiance would be here to take care of me from now onward."

And then there was a deafening silence as she heard her heart beat accelerating. She only knew how untrue her statement was, hell would freeze over before she asked Shyam for any favors. But Arnav didn't know that, she watched as his knuckled turned bone white as he gripped at the steering wheel. And then next moment, he stepped hard on the brakes and brought the car to a screeching halt that she almost hit the dashboard.

Hesitatingly she looked at his face which was like a thunder and said, "Ar.."

But he didn't let her finish and growled out menacingly, "Get out."

She looked out, they were still at least a mile away from the house, so looking at him she said, "
B..u

"I said, out." He slashed the air with his hand, stopping her after flicking open her seatbelt.

Khushi was trembling uncontrollably as she struggled with the door and as he leaned over to throw open the door for her. She was hardly out of the door, he slammed on the brakes and was out of the site in a moment. She just watched helplessly at the streaks of dust, that he left behind and started making her way to his house.

I should be posting the part tonight, EST as I have no choice now, I have a friend coming over for a weekend so it would get busy. Last bit of the part is left. It is going to be a typical longgg part this time. so hopefully it would make up for all the tardiness😳...Meanwhile here is a bit of teaser from the beginning of the part.🤗
