OT - I think proposing a live-in would mean that he wouldn't even consider a marriage at least to me. Like Arnav did a livein when Nani pushed him for some sort of commitment. I think till then La remained his Girlfriend. (Correct me if im wrong) He even announced his engagement to her only because of his denial of feelings towards khushi..

So I think he would have proposed her for a love relationship to date like a Girlfriend but no mention about live-in or marriage. He knew of her beliefs in marriage, and also asking for a live-in would mean no different from La's situation. Even though, I would still think he was going towards marriage in the long term.

Nice discussion. First of all, khushi would have let him speek in the store rooms scene. He keeps on asking her to listen to him. Probably he would have said that he dont know about the guest house's poor condition.

To validate my perception, I will just take the instance of the scene where Nani and Anjali are deliberately talking loud at the poolside about Khushi's betrothal into the family to perk reactions from Arnav.

And when Anjali asks him what he thinks about Khushi, he thoughtfully goes on to say "Khushi..aur main, shaadi" when he is cut off by Nani and Anjali who tell him they are saying about NK and Khushi, he is left flabbergasted 😆

If someone even conjoined the word Marriage with Lavanya or for any other aspect in his life, he would get so damn angry, but with Khushi, he was just so thoughtful, not at all angry. 😉

So yeah. Although he wasn't a believer of marriage, with Khushi, he really couldn't think otherwise. 😳
