Except for the ending, BHPH had lots of entertaining episodes. Somewhere I read that the Sony's channel head/creative was impressed with Sobti's Shravan and suggested him for IPKKND. It's all connected in some way.

Yeah.. BALH was a hit show on Sony when IPK was airing and infact all the jodi and main awards used to go to Ram Kapoor and Sakshi. But, Barun managed to get few actor awards.

I think He managed to get most of them . There was a lot of competition for him those days, Ram Kapoor, Ronit Roy, Sameer Soni, Mohit (Shiv), Karan Tacker, Gurmeet . But he managed to beat all. Same goes with the jodi award. The jodis apart from Sarun were also famous 😊😊😊

No. The awards, I remember were almost a clean sweep by Barun-Sanaya, for the Jodi. Barun won quite a few best actor awards. I think, the only ones he didn't win was ITA, where BS-SI won best Jodi. And, Zee, where they obviously had it fixed beforeheand. Based on what I remember only. I could be wrong.

Whoa. I didn't know his BHPH helped him land IPK.

He did share a few of those awards with Samir Soni & Ram.

Also, someone on Twitter said, he won 8 awards for IPK. I don't know if that is including Jodi awards or just his individual awards. I think, it is the latter, but not sure.

Ok. Wikipedia tells me it is 8 including the jodi awards.

I think he won an Indian Telly Award where sanaya collected his awards..Most of his awards were collected by her only 😳😳 . He shared it with Sameer Soni..

He won his first at Gold Petals I think, which is hosted by Balaji. They gave it to him along with Ram Kapoor..

No. He won Indian Television Academy Award for Best Actor, not ITA. Ram won ITA, I think. Or, who is the other guy from Ekta Camp who plays a lawyer on some Sony weekly show? That guy.

That was not Gold Petal Awards. It was some Global Indian Telly Awards or something by Balaji, yes.

Wow! He had quite a competition that year. Of course there are jodi awards, but I remember Ram Kapoor winning most of the BA awards that year.

Just checked ITA page, Barun shared one BA award with Sameer Soni. 8 awards? WOW! Nice actually, he won them all without attending😆

I believe, he was supposed to attend one of them but some meeting came up & he skipped. The rest, he obviously didn't. Don't even know what to say about that.
