Anand knows most of the things but he thought when sashi himself called things would improve but when he is formal he didnt understand things

Part 3

Arnav wanted to give time to payal and kushi to come around. He doesn't want to enter into their space or force them to do what they don't want too. He knows what their family is going through. He also knows that his mom trip to them is not great and it was just formal. No one blamed them but then patience comes with an expiry date too. It's been 24 hours since both of them came to Raizada outhouse but they didn't try to enter the mansion or they didn't try to come out of the so called outhouse. What are they doing in that small house? Don't they feel to meet all of us like we are desperate to meet them? Are they really avoiding us? Seriously payal wanted to return the food sent by mom? Here he and family is trying to take matters slowly and be supportive to them, doesn't mean they are going to lock themselves in a house and ignore them. He is generally less patience guy and 6 years is a long time. Screw with patience he thought to himself.

When he rang the doorbell of the outhouse, it took freakily one whole longest minute in his whole life for the door to open. He is raged and angry. Although he is aware of being unreasonable he couldn't control it. He is desperately wishing to mend the gap between both the families. Of course particularly with one person who doesn't even bother to know whether he is alive or not. Not even his mom understands his desperation. Thinking of one person whom he wants to fry with his eyes opening the door with those big innocent and inquisitive eyes has made him forget about his earlier resolve of lashing them out.

He is wandering somewhere in his own dreamy land seeing Kushi for the first time after 6 years. Her mouth is moving and saying something but he couldn't hear a word. A gentle tug on his hand has brought him out of his wonderful dream land

How much time will u take to open the door? Enraged arnav asked kushi for which her eyes widened and her mouth formed O shaped. Can life be more interesting and beautiful than this he thought?

A gentle sound of Arnav I missed you made him turn his head to payal who is crying seeing him. Before he can register what is happening or reply to payal she came crashing into him with a fierce hug. His friend misses him as much he misses her. His eyes moistened which is a rare occurrence to him.

What about me? The small question from kushi has brought them out of their emotional ride. Both of them opened their hands and kushi came willing for a hug.

Arnav was beyond happy to meet them and have this group hug. This is what he is missing. The friendship he missed, togetherness he waited for, warmth of the people whom he loved and most importantly love of his life in his arms.

He couldn't let kushi to go away and he wanted to be selfish so he took her arms in his and sat on the sofa making her to sit beside him.

Payal sat opposite to him and is still in her own emotional land. Kushi is no less and her tears were always his weakness. He just wiped the tears for the time being... he knows his limitations as of now. He can't do anything more than that. Can he?

Arnie mom is in US and we can't even go there. It's first time me and gudiya are alone. Don't know what to do?

Payu don't you even consider me a friend forget about best friend? I am there with you people guys. Please give me all the related numbers of Sashi uncle and Raj bhaiyya.

When Payal went to bring the numbers inside he turned his attention to kushi. Kushi has this weird way of sitting on sofa. She leans on the sofa hands and sits facing the people. Cant she understand that he is human with emotions. Her proximity itself is creating dhak dhak dhak. Dhak dhak dhak a strange feeling which indicates he has a heart and people call him heartless, what an irony he thought.

It is not the time to have the luxury of wandering thoughts and so he turned to Kushi and asked how you are kussu?

Arnav is transported back to time when Kushi is 3 years and Arnav 8 years old. Kushi started talking at 2 but still now she has difficulty to speak some of the terms. All used to have lot of fun. She used to say Akash as Akshu, Payal as payu jiji, Anjali Di as anujaali Di, Arnav as Annav and if anyone asks her name she used to kussu. She couldn't pronounce her name properly. Arnav used to rag her with her childhood pronunciation now and then. His wandering thoughts came to a halt with kushi feisty answer

With flaring nose and jaw twisting kushi answered I am not kussu anymore I am kushi and now a big lady and know how to pronounce my name

Arnav chuckled, his feisty kushi he thought and said so you are big and how big you have become?

I am 23 for God sake and had completed my Mtech in computers and actually got a job in Software Company in your Delhi but papa has not allowed. You know I have completed M.tech from Amity University. I really wanted to do the job which was offered to me. I like this ethical hacking and networking. Very less jobs for the same but dad said I can't stay alone in Delhi. But then I wanted to do.

Her blabbering would have gone on and on if not for payal who came into the room and said Arnie these are the contacts. With a hesitance Payal asked Arnie can you give me your cell number.

For a second Arnav felt very bad but then he gave his number and then asked for their numbers. How much distance their relationships have gone wrong? They don't even know their names

With that he got up to take his leave. And while going he informed them he will be back in few minutes.

While leaving he turned to Kushi and said you are still a kidoo and your brain is still 5 years old.

Kushi eyes widened and came running to hit him with a pillow. He dashed out before she could hit him.

After Arnav went Kushi and payal laughed a little and Kushi said Jiji can we go into the mansion to meet Akshu bhai and Nandu? Payal replied immediately gudiya you remember what Dad and bhaiya said. Mansion is no no zone until bhai comes and until things little. Kushi just nodded

Within 15 mins Arnav rang the doorbell again with new female servant and hari Prakash. Payal was telling what is the need for this arnie which he didn't even tried to listen and ordered Hari Prakash to arrange things and ordered Nivedita, the new female servant to cook for them until they start coming to Raizada mansion for their lunch and dinner. Payal still is saying no arnie we can't take that help from you but they were interrupted by Kushi who was sweetly asking the new maid if she knows how to prepare jalebi

Kushi is still blabbering away with the new maid saying see I don't know how to make jalebi but then if I am tensed or mood off or angry I want jalebi. From yesterday I am not in a good mood but then I couldn't prepare jalebi but can't ask jiji too she is too mood off and this is a new place, I don't even know where to buy them. You please prepare them jaldi, my mind doesn't work properly if don't have them.

Akash and NK have walked into the house at the moment and 6 years gap has earased as if it didn't happen at all. They all chatted, laughed and had dinner as before
