RIDDLE
Yes our time capsule , my Riddler😊

Hope you like this riddle on 6' from me!

Why 6? No that is not the riddle! That's too easy! Its obviously because our all-time favourite show Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon went on air on 6 June(the sixth month). I decided to look up number 6 on the internet and was pleasantly surprised to stumble upon so many Traits of no. 6 that can be easily related to the show. Here are some of the traits. I have put them haphazardly in different paragraphs. Spot the characters by the identity given to no.6 by numerology! Have fun beautiful blasters for this riddle is right up your alley!

In numerology, the 6 is considered the most harmonious of all single-digit numbers. The most important influence of the 6 is its loving and caring nature. Properly nicknamed the motherhood number, it is all about sacrificing, caring, healing, protecting and teaching others. No family or community can function without the power of the 6 to keep them together and safe. She is the glue that keeps a family or community together.

[ Anjali ] OR Naniji OR Arnav's MOM as this is a motherly nature #

Sometimes the 6 becomes too involved in the lives of those dear to her, to the point that she becomes intrusive and meddling. The 6 can be jealous and small-minded, tending to be more focused on the little details while ignoring the bigger pictures usually to her own detriment.

Anjali

At times 6 takes her sacrificing nature too far and becomes a doormat to be abused and trampled on. She can be a bad judge of character, and has been known to sacrifice herself to a cause or a person even while everyone around her tries to convince her that this cause or person is not worth it. But 6 must be careful of putting people on pedestals, as they often have a tendency to topple.

Khushi and Payal too at some extenyt

The 6 is more concerned with the content of her personality than her appearance, which causes her to be less conscious of the style of her clothes. She is more interested in comfort and the utility of clothing than the statement it makes. 6 carries her heart on her sleeve and expects the same from others. The role of counselor and advisor comes naturally to her, and many will come to her to cry on her shoulder or to seek her down-to-earth wisdom. The 6 carries herself well and moves gracefully, yet is warm, funny and jovial. When the 6 is on a career path, she generally goes a long way due, in part, to her sense of duty and responsibility -- but also because she is genuinely respected and well-liked..

Buaji OR Garima and Naiji too at some extent

The 6 can also be smug and arrogant, especially toward authority figures or institutions. The 6 sometimes suffers from anxiety and insecurity, even phobias. The 6, while loving, caring and full of sympathy for others, is egotistical at heart. If those at the receiving end of 6 do not show the attention she craves, she can turn on them, even hurt them. Beware of a cynical or angry 6 is a merciless wolf in sheep's clothing. People born on the Sixth path are often described as magnetic, as people are often drawn to them, and their moods can affect the room. Life path number 6 is the number of responsibility and awareness. When those around you are losing their heads, you're the one who takes charge. You order around and rule. Surrounded by servants, you lead a luxurious life. Someone is always waiting for your beck and call. Someone is always looking for your help.

Arnav Bitwa

People influenced by the 6 vibration are natural nurturers - both male and female. They derive their greatest joy from taking care of everyone else. These people are wonderful with children and make loving, supportive parents.

Khushi and Anjali

Number 6 gives people the opportunity to develop a clear idea of right and wrong - and the consequences that link cause and effect.

Our King of Justice...Arnav Maharaja

The 6 vibration represents truth, order, justice and economy. 6 people will have many opportunities in their life to learn their responsibilities, and to give service to humanity.

Khushi

The 6 energy will fight for their ideals and principles, and represents someone who is deeply concerned for others. 6 has the greatest depth of emotion of all the numbers, and they feel very deeply about everything. At times they are deep and serious and have a great inner-knowing.

Khushi

Domestic situations and relationships are very meaningful to the loving 6, and they view this as their stability. They do not like to live alone, but need the companionship of others. To love and be loved is their desire, and to this end all of their attention and activities are directed.

Anjali

Noise, clutter and confusion are not compatible with the 6 energy. They like their world to be calm, peaceful and comfortable.

Mujhe Khamoshi pasand hai ...Arnav

6's are fair-minded, slow to anger and with 3's outgoing personality and 2's peace-making and giving was, are harmonious, domesticated and make excellent spouses and parents.

Anjali and Khushi

Name numerology for 6 makes others to help you, but you do not always reciprocate. You make false promises, and fail to keep them. Others do thankless jobs for you. You are always careful about your money. Name numerology for 6, if afflicted makes you a confidence trickster. You cheat others very boldly. People knowingly get themselves cheated by you. You speak sweet and attractive words to delude and cheat them.

Slithery Shyam

Numerology for 6 makes you give less and take more from others who serve you. Even if you make a sacrifice, there will be a financial motive behind that. You will calculate profits and then only start any thing

Slither and web beaver Shyam

You are not afraid of failures. You boldly try again.

Who wrote the significance of number-6? It must be Faiqa. Wow great to know about the significance of number-6.
Faiqa, how you wrote the story of IPK from the perception of Rose and thorn was so thoughtful.
Supi, After a long time got to see your fantabulous edits.
Lots of brilliant edits by all the blasters made the thread spectacular.

Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?

What should I name this love?

June 6, 2011- (November 30, 2012)- June 6, 2014

The Journey From Hate to Love

by cinthiann1758

I celebrate the day that this wonderful serial was placed on the air on Star Plus, Monday to Friday with occasional Maha episodes (that I longed for) on a Saturday, which played on my computer and television multiple times a day.

I long for the reliving of those moments of waiting, butterflies in my stomach, palms sweating and the feeling of anticipation, sitting on the edge of my bed to see my ASR turn into my Arnav and wondering what will my Khushi Kumari Gupta do next?

(Didn't we all feel they belonged to us?)

We all do have the same feelings.I remember our days of crying and laughing together

I use to talk to ASR and even myself while watching,😆

"How dare he?" and "Did he just do that?"

and then just melt when he looked a certain way. I laughed so hard at Khushi's antics and mannerisms.

I got lost in his chocolate puppy dog eyes, which could express every emotion with a blink, a stare, a wink and you could always tell his fury by his eyes.

It was the emotion of love, unfolding and deep hurt which built walls that would crumble before our very eyes that I came to know and love, seeing it in his eyes, slowly but steadily through his mesmerizing gazes at his beauty, Khushi and her possessive flying dupattas. I couldn't wait for his stone cold heart to crumble and melt into the warm and loving embrace of the young, zany, middle class girl who really didn't know about love herself.

muahhs for this , as this was the reasons we were sticking together and still are

They had a common link, orphaned at a young age from parental tragedies and both were raised in loving homes in Lucknow, only causing both to be stronger individuals. They were complete opposites as well, ASR didn't care about anyone or anything, power and money and he himself were his gods while KKG was powered by her devotion to Devi Maiiya, sanskars and tradition.

Their paths crossed with Devi Maiyya intervening many a time. Starting from Khushi being at the wrong place at the right time where she met the infamous and furious ASR, falling into his arms and ruining his show right before his eyes and as those eyes gazed at the dazzler in his arms and her pink luscious lips... to her dupatta flowing freely over his face caressing him lovingly... to her holding the key to his wish... to her scooter running into his car even though they moved to a different state... to Khushi being hired by his company and her unintentionally ruining a fur coat for a VIP model and that's when he noticed, really noticed the beauty in red.

How could she make him feel this way...stirring things inside of him he didn't really care to understand, he chose not to understand or want. Walls went up, anger took over and revenge settled into his heart. He would not feel this way and this was his punishment to her; so he sent her out in the rain to park cars and made her work extra long hours knowing she had to go home for her sister's birthday and then banished her to the guest house all deteriorated and decrepit, ready to fall in a instant only to realize she was stuck there and off he went to her rescue late at night where he was confronted by a lioness and the battle really started.

Anger took over and as much as he pushed her away she came in front of him.

Devi Maiyya had other plans for them.

Such a warm and beautiful story

So I sat at the edge of my bed waiting and watching, biting my nails, palms sweating and heart racing in anticipation for those plans to unfold. 😃 I waited and watched, as our couple hated each other, argued, fell upon each other, and continued to come together over and over again and again I waited and watched Devi Maiyya's plans unfold.

and at the same time being angry why the heck they don't get it...

Watching Lavanya become his live-in girlfriend was not easy. She was the arrogant ringleader at work who hated Khushi but Khushi was there to rescue and help her out at the Raizada Mansion making her fit into the role of bahu of the Raizada household. Anjali and Naniji loved Khushi from the beginning since her sari selling days and were her greatest champions and Devi Maiiya's matchmakers on earth. We see Khushi's magic change a girl like Lavanya into a proper bahu for that same Raizada household only for Khushi to find herself attracted to the man she longed to hate and avoid at every turn. She didn't understand what was happening to her but something was pulling her to him, stirring deep inside to her soul...a lifemate perhaps?

Such an innocent girl , had no idea of this feeling...called LOVE and he misunderstood her innocence and caller her a trickster ...always made me mad but I love him too...

I hated Shyam with my whole being even from the earliest I can remember. He just made my skin crawl and I must say Abbhas did an excellent job portraying his character. The plot thickened with Shyam weaseling himself in as a paying guest at the Gupta house. He followed them there from Lucknow where he first saw and saved Khushi from some very sleazy goons and they didn't forget the favor. So the innocent Guptas made a place for him in their home and he was a perfect candidate for marriage with the Sanka

haha I know how much you love him but not m ore than me...I adore him and you can see in my posts

Devi, Khushi. Babuji's illness was brought about by the evil Shyam for his scheme to marry Khushi. In their helplessness it would be good to have another man around the house and someone who could take care of at least one of the marriageable aged sisters.

I was still at the edge of my bed, sitting on pins and needles as I watched Khushi hatch a plan to sabotage a business trip so Lavanya and ASR could be alone but needless to say our Devi Maiyya gave Lavanya a zit and alas the vain woman couldn't go but Khushi wound up in ASR's trunk unconscious due to a knock on her noggin' and there she went instead of La.

What ensued changed everything.

Nanital trip makes him see losing himself for her but he was in denial

A trust built in a very strange way between them. He was angry at first...of course he would be after all she put sugar in the gas tank. So they walked through the woods and she had to trust him. He lost her for a while for she was forbidden to speak and she fell in a sinkhole and he panicked a little until he found her. Her clothes were stolen and she was left with bridal attire so when they stopped at a roadside stand they were assumed to be eloped lovers.

Love her silliness

Oh yes, she made him suffer. Dancing away, Khushi happily let go of her inhibitions and her hips swayed and the beauty in all her glory mesmerized him. He scooped her up, after all it was their "suhaag raat", and brought her to their honeymoon suite where he dumped her on a chair and furiously he left her there all night to sleep in the cold dark living room as he slammed the bedroom door. Honeymoon over.

Oh their courtship is showing love through all of these fights...

I saw another side of ASR that episode because when he woke up and went to check on the now unconscious Khushi, he swept her off the chair brought her to the bed and cared for her so lovingly you would think she was his wife. I saw a changing ASR and a little bit of the cold in his heart was warming as he gave her medicine and held her glass for her to drink. I sighed.

On the way home Khushi was mistaken for that runaway bride who stole her clothes and after seeing Khushi manhandled by a goon, Arnav in a fit of rage beat the living daylights out of the goons until Khushi called out his name and placed her calming hand on his shoulder to stop. I sighed again.

What was going on? Was he changing? Iss Pyaar Ko Kya naam Doon?

Upon the couples return Khushi finds out about Babuji's illness and he is in the hospital. She goes with great despair. She can't lose her parent again. I sat there crying feeling Khushi's pain and sadness.

I just knew she needed a hug, someone to support her and then there he was...

There were so many times in this show where he supported her as she crept into his heart. She allowed the cold walls of doubt, distrust, hate and fear to melt away from his heart and she built in him trust, friendship and support and a place where he had no fear to feel and he could feel love was safe. His attraction to her kept growing but his denial was great and he continued to push her away but again Devi Maiyya knew there destiny. Through twists and turns, misunderstandings and deceptions the plot thickened and our couple fell in love with fairy lights, lit diyas and poolside as its backdrop. Enchanted by the other and mesmerizing gazes across the room, something stirring, iss pyaar ko kya naam doon? He followed his attraction, her eyes and lips beckoned him that night at poolside, a gaze of permission perhaps but he couldn't control himself any longer and he surrendered by attempting a kiss. A kiss that was so breathtaking that had us on the edge of our seats again only to be interrupted by reality's ringing of his phone. That night he returned to her, her mother's precious payal that he had in his keeping- holding close to him but all was destroyed with reality's ring and an engagement announcement took place instead. He would hurt her and push her further away. ASR announced his intent to marry La.

Diwali really brought a new direction in em...She shattered completely and so did he but he was badly in it and that was the reason he pushed her badly

Through twists and turns, again our IPK took us to the limits wanting to hate La but we couldn't, wanting ASR to openly confess his love to Khushi and he didn't, but we saw a self centered woman change into a caring respectable human being and became mature as she realized that the man she loved and wanted to marry loved someone else even though he never would admit it. So La left us and I actually cried, did you?

Well said, I became sad for her, she did so much , changed completely and Nani was right there must be a bigger reason and yes he had a reason but didn't want to share

IPK did that to me, to us, it let us love every character developed or undeveloped, even a goat named Laxmi.

Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? Continued with more storylines and we were still waiting with anticipation for this love bud to bloom into the rose.

This love remained unspoken and I delighted in all the crazy scenarios as well (as the entry of NK, Khushi BFF) and then was destroyed finally by a misconstrued incident by a devious, deceptive, lying and cheating husband and BIL. Trust was broken and I cried so much, it was heart wrenching to see their pain.

Don't remind me , I cried like hell ...couldn't watch the show for a while and then came back and watched ...but still it makes me heart aches painful ...so much pain

It's hard to even write about.

We all know what happened next with the following tracks... the forced marriage, Gupta House, the bridge and Revelation of Shyam Part 1, Arnav's kidnapping, The revealing of "I love you, Khushi", the search is on with detectives Mami and Khushi, Dadi's entry, Arnav's Safe, the Revelation of Shyam Part 2, Anjali's Accident and Miscarriage and Remarriage of A&K with Garima's Truth, The Revelation of Shyam Part 3 and then all the silly story lines after that I choose not to even acknowledge but I still watched on the edge of my bed in anticipation.

Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? a Hindi serial, which although off the air, still stays with us. We gather in threads on this Forum, pagal in love with the show's story and the actors. We haven't forgotten, nor will we.

Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?

Has been our journey from hate to love, from sadness to happiness and because of this show we gather together united in love as sisters. We transcend every nationality, creed and even age for we have a common bond, a show with brilliant actors that taught us that hate can become love,

Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?

😉

Awesome write up Cynthia...love it from the bottom of my heart...so much depth of your emotions...👏

The Mehsoos...the pull
by BarunDiwani

It was there always, since June 6th 2011, the magnetic pull to each other, the mehsoos of each other. the attraction, the need to stay attached...yes the first collar grab happened on their first meeting, long before the guest house incident.

He had closed his eyes unable cope with memories of his surroundings at Sheesh Mahel, and his painful past he refuses to move on from. She had been pushed on to the stage by accident (or was it?). It was then that a strong unknown feeling prompted him to open his eyes, a feeling that causes him to pause and think for a moment, before his eyes went to her. She had also closed her eyes after calling out of her beloved Devi Maiyaa but as she opened, the feeling may have reached her too...perhaps not as strongly as him. After all he would be the first to recognize this incredible feeling that would draw him to her.

Devi Maiya had decided it was finally time Khushi Kumaari Gupta met her destiny and Arnav Singh Raizada met the biggest deal of his life. She had a beautiful fall and fell into the arms of her destiny and he caught the biggest deal of his life. They stared at each other, certainly not the "love at first sight" look but confused by this pull, but still got lost in each other, the attraction on fire... His eyes moved to her lips, while her hands found his collar...then there were fireworks, nice touch CVs!!

"Phir aap ke rajkumaar kahaan hai?"(then where is your Prince?)

an inquizitive boy had asked Khushi earlier after she had showed herself a rajkumari(princess) for a school function. Right then she knew to look up at a chopper that made noise announcing his arrival. The rajkumar's. but She was on a scooty grounded, he was flying in the sky. She believes and in usuls (value) while he thinks they are for fools. She is all about "zameer" (concious), while life has taught him from early on to kill it even if it's there. Seemingly different as night and day, but it's this pull that will always remain as their biggest friend and enemy and take us on an unforgettable journey.

There was another pull in this first episode that sucked all of us right in, and no sight of letting go anytime soon, or ever. The show truly deserves a grand celebration, for it has actually changed lives, bought people together and most of all continues to feed the soul even after its ending.

Happy 3rd Anniversary IPK!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a blast Ami, 👏

@Javeria
lovely write up.👏
I never knew that you write poems too.
Amazing poem!
When Khushi fell in love with her laad governor? The question also came to my mind several times. And I came to an answer. and that is when Arnav saved her in the guest house. they sure are soul mates. So that Khushi clutched his shirt on that day in her unconscious state.
And you know when Arnav fell in love with her?
He fell in love with her at first sight. Otherwise a man like ASR would never keep the pearls from her dori. he started to love her since that day, that's why he wanted to hate her so much.
But their love was inevitable to happen, so it happened and made an epic love story what will remain in our heart forever.

About a Love Story
By Horizon

He shut his eyes.. as if searching for that elusive something... questioning the Gods above about a whole frivolous theme of realization of dreams.. there she landed in his arms.. just as an answer...

A Love Story is Born!!

Sometimes mother's wishes and prayers comes true after them and that is a reflection of one of those moments...

... As was never conceived... as was never created... as was never enacted... As was never loved...as was never missed and remembered...as this ONE...Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam doon..

And as was never watched any serial before...

A heart touching story of two Ajeebs... two pagals... two imperfect people...with conflicting ideologies of execution but essentially similar at the core... wading through a maze of rights and wrongs as dictated by their hearts...as they found each other for Hamesha!

Since first episode they were in ...for eternity

Hard to recall that it has been as long since this story stopped visiting our living rooms every day as it visited.. 18 months.. not a very long period for any show .. but was enough to leave one in a complete awe and longing for a life time. Its not always that everyone in a team contributes to the best of their abilities...whole heartedly as they literally lived these characters...crafted/ chiseled this love story to perfection...that in the middle of a deluge of half-baked narrations on Indian television ..this story remained a piece of art...to treasure and cherish for long..

Oh yea , it will be as always. Not a single creating is ever going to close close to it...not in near future...

Huge round of applause to each and every one involved both on and off screen for creating this master piece the way they did... 4 Lions, directors, script writers, editors, last but not the least the actors, and a very very special thanks to the music director.. as music is the soul of a love story!

There may be many shows on air that makes one reminisce IPKKND but NONE that can replace ...the sheer perfection and aura.. such irreplaceability...the core trait of legendary..

Faraq padtha hai...aaj bhi...you are much loved and missed!

Happy 3rd Anniversary IPKKND!

That makes a huge difference , no doubt...our caliber for perfection has been raised after IPK...

Well said Horizon...underlined and pink stood out for me.my comments are in between .
The show has ended but we are still here , IPK fans just accomplished their mission, 10, 000 pages and that is a big proof in it...for anyone who wants to challenge ..

News update: 3rd Anniversary special - 6/6/14

Three years ago a girl, all dressed up, with sneakers on, boarded a scooter, in a quest, the result of which, she had no idea of. Three years ago, a man, all spruced up, with aviators on alighted from a helicopter to snatch the deal for a priceless mansion, leading to whom, he had no idea of. Three years ago, watching these two, were millions of viewers, curious to know what this was about, the effect it would have on them, they had no idea of.

and on viewers , they had no idea, even after so many months and i feel they have started recently the effect of this show..Sanaya did have it when she went London and Barun saw first time too but realization, verbally acceptance is coming now...
Three years ago, as a journey started, a relationship developed between a few fictional characters and some real people. While, the journey ended midway, the bonding stayed and strengthened as the number of real people kept increasing even after the end of the journey.
I think real ppl like us have stronger relationship than anyone...
While the reasons for the same were perused and investigated, it was quite evident that this was nothing but magic. And along with it came madness, craziness and pagalpan, in not just short bouts, but truckloads of it. 😃

Proof of it is quite evident in the way the forum members worked day and night towards a mission, that had turned into a passion for every IPK fan. The way they achieved the target of 10000 forum pages makes one wonder, 'Iss pagalpan ko kya naam doon'.

That is a big achievement itself and I salute them...👏
From the news desk, here's congratulating everyone for the achievement of 10,000 pages in the forum and wishing all a Happy 3rd IPKKND Anniversary.

Durga 👏

You brought back memories ...happy , sad mixed ...Thnx for this ride again
