Well.. that's because rules are rules and changing them now it's not a good idea. 🤓 A solo comment "Congrats on the new thread" it's spamming: (I think) it's not readers fault but writer's. I think a writer should open a new thread only when he/she posts a new chapter or teaser.. it doesn't make any sense to me opening a thread just like that, pming your readers with the link of the thread and they just post Congrats! So.. I think we writers should open a new thread only when we are going to post a new chapter/teaser to avoid spamming and along with the update/teaser's comment.. a reader can post "Congrats" too. 😊 And regarding update soon, pms and scraps are quicker that a comment. Don't you think so? 😳 If readers want a update.. they can pm/scrap the writer and get a personal quick reply too! 😃
