Actually since he has been waiting a long time for this moment to come, I think he used to drink a glass of milk every night to prepare himself for possible Suhagraats. That's why the milk he drank daily is more than enough. Since he was focused on himself, he forgot to prepare his shy wife. And the most important thing was that he forgot to remove statue of Devi Maiya.
