Oh yes, even I started after Teej. In fact my first epi was the one where Shyam enters RM officially as damad after Teej. And since the next 1/2 epis were all full of Shyam, but the title still suggesting it to be a love story, I thought it was a love story of Shyam and Anjali, 😆😆 two handicapped people.. since Shyam/ Abhas was on crutches that time and Anj the handicapped..It was from their first SUV Janmashtami feud that I would completely get hooked onto, and watched the previous 3 months of epis 2 in about 2 weekends..but even during that hurried watching, Guest house and Teej firmly stood out and I confess I watched them over and over in the first few weeks/ months. 😳Their longing for each other after the guest house and her resignation was brought out tremendously well. By that literal heat wave at that temple, ground was firmly laid for a ballistic fire, with him denying of her the basic rights and regulations of an employee and she denying him of a chance to explain himself.. those cheesy words of that song almost felt reading their hearts out there hiding under their fire. and the first impression lingers on.I often wondered which way that song was meant for Anj (was it menat for Shyam and her??) except for that rather basic flat tune wihout much variation in notes as opposed to Arshi's metallic ones with lot of range, and teh choice of instruments. Sorry, I can slip into the boring details..Known Raju singh since the late 1990s when he did some albums with Alka Yagnik, but in IPK he was some one possessed!

i feel like compiling a dictionery or something of adjectives that describe ipk. 😆
please slip into more boring details about music. that ankhon mein gana, it was flat and too whiny i felt... its personality lacked individuality... utterly. one of those mere behna types, there was a heavy dose of maa in it, not written with feeling i thought. now i know i am being a bit nasty, but it somehow never did fit the ipk song book.
but the rest... yes, what choice of instruments. even when i don't recognise them, i know they have character... something to say. even liked that drummy, staccato ish score over the goondas. kidnap. khushi's hoi hoi hoi hoi... very pind i thought but fun, lovely instruments. yesterday holi started... that frenzy in its tune, i like. of course rabba vey, the songs, the many interpretations, uff. also asr's music, swishy or sad, both super duper. yes mr singh was a man possessed.
