Hi guys,
Before I have my little rant, I wanna make it clear that yes I am a big fan of Barun, but I love Sanaya no less 😊 Please refrain from bashing because I only wanted to put my opinion across, after seeing some posts about this topic elsewhere
Ever since IPKKND ended, I have seen all sorts of varying opinions on Barun's exit from the show - a large proportion of people blaming him for the closure of the show.
I created this post to share my take on it ..
I don't think Barun is to blame (no, I'm not here to instigate bashing). Yes, being an actor means one should be committed to the difficult schedules etc, but that doesn't take priority over health. I think sometimes it could be seen that working for such long hours was taking a toll on Barun's health. And when he decided to quit, was he to know the show would get shut down? Nope.
Four Lions could have continued with the show, rather than leaving the blame on Barun's shoulders. If Barun is to blame, then so are Four Lions. In my opinion, if the show continued without Barun, it would have been interesting to see how Khushi would have coped and how she'd become independent without Arnav. Although I dislike the idea of no ArHi, I would still watch it for Sanaya.
And as for those people who say Barun taking up Main Aur Mr Right was a mistake - why blame him? It's not like he knew what was to come, or was able to predict the success/failure of the movie. Predicting such things is impossible, for example, take a look at Sushant.. after his bollywood debut, his career has taken off. I guess Barun just may not be as lucky :/
Once again, i'm speaking in favour of Barun and against his bashers, so don't get me wrong.
