With Diwali preparation, started the blossoming of their romance .. love they may not have acknowledged, but could they deny the irresistible attraction they felt towards each other? No perhaps.

They both knew it was happening. Thus was their effort of denial.

The fairylights scene is my most favorite scene of IPKKND. There is tough competition but somehow it is always the first one that comes to my mind. I have not seen anything so sensuous on screen .. they made love without doing anything in literal sense and every time I see it, I still get goosebumps. Didn't they feel it? Oh so they did. And that's why he said .. Khushi ulajh gayi. Didn't he realize that he too was too tangled up?

The attraction they felt, the desire that was running below the surface .. with each knot he untangled, he cherished and she felt it. He knew it and she knew it too. That's why she questioned and that's how she got Devi Maiya's signs.

Lovely post Riti. I am feeling like going on writing more and more .. but I better stop now. 😊

what if i dont want you to stop ..😳..somehow we all missed analysing or putting our thoughts on those episodes... those were best days of IPK...I was still a silent reader here and trust me i was just so angry with Arnav during end of it...felt so much for khushi at that time... she had started dreaming...and it was brutally shattered in the end...n lil she knew that one breaking it was burning in his own hell...

I have watched LS 122 so many times, I've had the top comment over 5 or 6 times by now.
I am obsessed

Thank you Riti, for the beautiful and wonderful post.

Diwali 2012 has gone down as one of the most memorable of all time. 😊

I remember watching that scene with my friend... and i was so involved ..that i was screaming..Ok enough kiss the girl now..😆..my frnd thought i lost it... n she was like...i dont think they will show it on prime time... i replied..shut up i dont care...😆.. it was magical... the desire...the pull...the need... a moment they were both in... unaware though...

I don't think there will be any Diwali going forward when I won't reminisce the magic of Arnav and Khushi on Diwali😳. It was just one of the most mesmerizing sequences ever seen on Indian TV not only Barun and Sanaya but the entire team their best foot forward and the result was just perfection

indeed that was their best... and we still watch and just get mesmerised by its beauty..wonderful days of IPK😊..thnks fr lovely comments dear

but even in my rush to know more one of the scenes that stood out was the untangling of those fairy lights 😳 i literally sat there with my heart in my mouth, not breathing, just in awe of a perfect perfect moment. it was superb, the way it was enacted, almost like poetry in motion and the way khushi reacts to arnavs every touch and every movement, the way he handles her like something delicate and precious, and whole time THE WAY HE'S LOOKING AT HER ...

it is easily one of my most favourite scenes of the show and whoever came up with it, take a bow! i haven't seen anything close to that scene of perfect understated romance with rippling undercurrents of desire and passion and new blooming love in a long history of tv and movie viewing - a well written, well crafted scene was just taken to a whole new elevated level by both of the actors, simply superb ❤️

thnks fr comment dear.. yes fairy light scene is one of my fav moment too... there was unknown pull... n both of them were so lost in the moment... u described how we felt very aptly😊

Ritu u know what,Some times which ever way i describe a scene i always feel i could have said more abt it and couldnt get the thoughts out on paper but by seeing ur post its feels they r right here by capturing the essence of the scene.
This is such a lovely post and u r an awesome writer🤗
We had 2 Diwali's..Though 2nd one has some cute, romantic momemts , First is my fav infact the fav diwali on TV.Diya,Payal Jaadu hai nasha hai 😳.When he says "ab ek minute seedha baitne keliye bhi over tym dena padega kya? " it just describes arnav so much..He was no more ASR,and shows he is not good words and expressing but has concern.
WOW the writers just nailed it👏.
Now that iam watching the scenes over and over again i respect the writers even more and agree with barun when he says the credit goes to the writers. But I also give him and sanaya credit to make it look so magical (which they dont give themselves and give credit to writers and director 😉)
Phewww...I started with the comment thinking i would say " Thanx for the Superb post" and look what i wrote😲😲😲.Hope alteast this made sense😕
