The Bhag series is a series of poems I've been writing, among other poems, on the Blast from the past threads. All the poems in this series are a parody of the song 'Bhag DKBose' from the movie 'Delhi Belly'. The poems are hysterical descriptions of the various situations wherein Shyam thought that he would be caught, but manages to escape in the nick of time.

I thank my blaster friends, especially ArshiHamesha and indi52, for suggesting that I post all these poems in one place.

This post is dedicated to sohara, who was instrumental in giving me the idea of making these parodies.

Hoping these provide a few laughs to the readers. 😊

Anjali se maine bola, chalo party jaayenge,

Sabki badhaayi milegi, cake kaat ke khaayenge

Party mein Khushi thi,

Dekha to main wahan se gaya bhaag, bhaag, bhaaag,

Bhaag bhaag Shyam babua, babua, babua, bhaag bhaag Shyaam babua bhaag, bhaag

Arey aayi Khushi aayi Khushi aayi Khushi aayi, bhaag bhaag Shyam babua bhaag, bhaag

Bhaag bhaag Shyam babua, babua, babua, bhaag bhaag Shyaam babua bhaag, bhaaag

Khushi se maine bola, Lucknow chale jaana,

Khushi ne lekin meri, koi baat nahin maana,

Khidki se maine dekha,

Gaadi se utarti Rani Sahibaaa, aaa, aaa,

Bhaag bhaag Shyam babua, babua, babua, bhaag bhaag Shyaam babua bhaag, bhaag

Translation:

I told Anjali, let's go to the party,

Everyone will wish us, we will cut the cake and eat,

Khushi was there in the party,

I saw that and ran away from there

Khushi came, Khushi came, Khushi came, Khushi came, run, run, Shyam babua, run, run,

Run, run...

I told Khushi, go to Lucknow, But Khushi did not agree,

From the window I saw, Rani Sahiba is getting down from the car,

Anjali mujhse boli, ghar jaldi chale aana,

Khushi ko Bhai nahin hai, Rakhi bandhvaalena,

Jab maine ye suna to, mere badan mein lag gayi jaise aag, aaag, aaag , bhaag,

Bhaag bhaag Shyam babua, babua, babua, bhaag bhaag Shyaam babua bhaag, bhaag

Arey aayi Khushi Rakhi leke aayi Khushi aayi, bhaag bhaag Shyam babua bhaag, bhaag

Bhaag bhaag Shyam babua, babua, babua, bhaag bhaag Shyaam babua bhaag, bhaaag

Translation:

Anjali told me, come home early,

Khushi doesn't have a brother, get the Rakhi tied from her,

When I heard this, I felt like a fire raging in my body,

Run run Shyam babua...

Khushi came, brought the Rakhi, Khushi came, run run Shyam babua run, run

Khushi ke Amma Babuji ko le aaya pataane ko

Dil jeetkar, Khushi se meri shaadi karvaane ko

Babuji beemaar hogaye,

Lag gaya unhe mujhpe shaq ka bukhaar, bukhaar, bukhaaar

Bhaag bhaag Shyam babua, babua, babua, bhaag bhaag Shyaam babua bhaag, bhaag

Arey Babuji karne lag gaye jaasoosi, bhaag bhaag Shyam babua bhaag, bhaag

Bhaag bhaag Shyam babua, babua, babua, bhaag bhaag Shyaam babua bhaag, bhaaag

Translation:

I brought Khushi's parents to sweet-talk them

Win their hearts, so that they will get me married to Khushi

Babuji fell sick, and he got the fever of doubting me

Run run Shyam babua...

Babuji started doing investigation, run run Shyam babua run run...

Gupta house maine choda, socha zara unko sataoonga

Aur Anjali ke saath Shantivan mein Diwali manaaoonga

Khushi ne dastak diya to,

Muh chupaane pineapple kha liya aaa aaa aaa

Bhaag bhaag Shyam babua, babua, babua, bhaag bhaag Shyaam babua bhaag, bhaag

Diwali ki mithayiyaan leke aagayi Khushi bhaag bhaag Shyam babua bhaag, bhaag

Bhaag bhaag Shyam babua, babua, babua, bhaag bhaag Shyaam babua bhaag, bhaaag

Translation:

I left Gupta house, thought I will harass them

And will celebrate Diwali with Anjali in Shantivan

When Khushi knocked, to hide my face I ate pineapple

Run run Shyam babua...

Khushi brought Diwali sweets, run run Shyam babua run run...

Bhag Shyam Babua - Part 5

Hone wale sasural mein, main mazey se reh raha tha

Amma aur Buaji ko chai pilaake pataa raha tha

Raizada ki toli aatey dekha,

To kamrey mein jaake main to chup gaya aaa aaa aaa

Phas phas gaya Shyam babua babua, kamrey mein phas gaya

Ab niklega kaise tu bata, kamrey mein phas gaya

Arey darwaza khat khata rahi hai Khushiji, kamrey mein phas gaya

Phas phas gaya Shyam babua babua, kamrey mein phas gaya...

Kamrey mein phas gaya to, socha khidki se hoga koodna

Par darwaza khidki ka, zara bhi khula na,

Jab lagaa ke ab pakda gaya,

Tab khidki ka darwaza hi khul gaya aaa aaa aaa

Translation:

I was staying joyfully at my to-be-in-laws house,

I was appeasing Amma and Buaji by giving them tea

I saw the Raizada people coming in

I went and hid inside the room

You are trapped Shyam babua, you are trapped in the room, tell how will you get out, you are trapped in the room

Khushi is knocking at the door, you are trapped in the room...

I got trapped in the room, thought I will have to jump out of the window

But the door of the window did not open at all

When I thought that now I am caught

Then the window door opened

Run run Shyam babua...

There is still some time left for you to be beaten up, run run Shyam babua...
