"Please tell Me this is not happening!!!" Khushi screamed and kicked the dishwasher harshly.
"This is the top brand, Ma'am.. You have to buy it." Khushi mimicked the sales attendant who had sold this dishwasher to Her. "Top of the line, My foot!"
"Urrghh.. I have to get this fixed as soon as possible." Khushi huffed while pulling out the various business cards from Her handbag.
Your Mr Fix-it at Your doorstep.

"You better be fixing My dishwasher, Mr Fix-it." Khushi said to no one in particular while dialing the number and pressing call.
In Her haste, Khushi did not see that She had made a mistake of pressing 3 instead of the 7 in the end.
"Hel-..." The voice on the other end of the phone said, after two or three rings.
"Cut the Hello and the fruity introductions... Get to business." Khushi growled clearly frustrated over Her misfortune.
"Who ar-..." The voice started again but was cut off.
"12, Hill Road, Opposite MS Health Center, House no. 7. Be here soon. My dishwasher is showing some problems." Khushi instructed, not quiet waiting for the other person to speak.
"I think You have got the wro-.." The other person tried speaking again.
"You think, I have got the wrong address?? Its My house. I know better. Mr Fix -it, You better come here and fix My dishwasher... I am running out of time." Khushi growled.
"One second... Are You Kh-..." The phone beeped indicating that the call was over. "-ushi??" The Guy on the other side completed.

*Ting Tong*
"Yeah. I know, Payal. But I seem to be on a time crunch. Thank God! It must be the repair man at the door. Payal, I will see You later at office. Start the presentation if I am late." Khushi clicked the phone shut while sighing loudly, walked to the front door and opened it swiftly.
"Look at the tim-.." Khushi started ranting but stopped due to the surprise standing in front of Her.
"12, Hill Road, Opposite MS Health Center, House no. 7. Someone called the repairman??" The Guy winked at Khushi.
Khushi stared at the Guy standing at the door. With his hair gelled to perfection and His three piece suit, the Guy looked out of place for a repairman.
"You! You changed Your profession to a repairman, Sir??"
"Hey Khushi... This is How You treat a repairman?? Won't You call Me inside??" The Guy smirked making Khushi flustered. "Plus... I am not Sir." The Guy said, reminding Khushi about the First Name Basis policy of the company.
"Oh No.. No.. Please come in. One second. Sir.. I mean, Arnav, How did You know that I called the repairman??" Khushi questioned in confusion.
"You called Me an hour ago." Arnav explained while walking in.
"I called You?? NO... I called the repairman." Khushi flipped Her phone out and checked the number, "See... 235423427"
"That happens to be My number." Arnav said trying to keep a straight face.
"Wait." Khushi flipped the repairman's card and compared both the numbers."Oh No... This has been a mistake. I guess, I dialed the Wrong Number." Khushi apologized.
"But, Now You have My Number. Feel lucky, No one in Your department has the number of the CEO. You are the first one." Arnav smirked.
"Oh... I guess, I am lucky. You are right. No one has Arnav Singh Raizada's private number." Khushi said flipping the card in Her hand. "I will just save it and give You a call again."
After a minute, Arnav's phone rang.
"Yup. Its Your Number. Now its saved." Khushi squealed.
"And We should be proceeding to the office. As far as I remember, You have a presentation and I am in the review panel." Arnav smirked.
"Oh.. Yes. You proceed. I will be there in 30 minutes." Khushi said in surprise due to his sudden professional behavior.
"Okay.. See You there, Khushi." Arnav said and walked out of the door.
"OMG.. I have to tell Payal about this." Khushi squealed while picking Her phone from the coffee table.
Khushi's heart could not stop beating loudly as she fumbled with the phone and dialed the last called number thinking that it was Payal's and forgetting that She had just called Arnav again to confirm his number.
"Khu--..."
"Listen, Payal... You will not believe who had come to My house right now... Arnav Singh Raizada. Yes, Yes. Yes. THE ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA. I really can't believe it. I had a thought that I must be hallucinating but NO... It was Him at My doorstep, looking as handsome as ever."
"Liste-.." Arnav tried speaking but was cut off again.
"I cant believe my luck. I actually called the repairman but wrongly dialed Arnav's number. You know there is some sort of a pull in him. I could not stop admiring the way he ta-... Payal, Are You there with Me??" Khushi questioned urgently.
"Hmmm..." Arnav replied not giving away His identity yet.
"So... Do you think He noticed Me because I am head over heels in love with Him???"
"Khus-.." Arnav tried His luck again but was cut off by a loud shriek.
"OH NO... Don't say it over the phone. I will talk to You at the office. We are going to be late for the presentation." Khushi shrieked, kept the phone in her bag and walked out of the house.
As Khushi was entering the office building, Her phone buzzed a new message.
Text Message from Payal.
'Sorry K! I may not be able to help You with the presentation. Looks like I am going to be late today. Stuck in the traffic.:(- Payal.'
Khushi quickly typed in the reply.
'Dont Worry. I think I can manage it on My own.<3- Khushi."

Khushi knocked on the door of the presentation room.
"Come In." Arnav's voice came through the door.
Khushi walked into the presentation room with full confidence to find it absolutely empty.
"Umm... Arnav. Where is the review panel??" Khushi questioned in confusion.
"They left for their respective cabins. You are late." Arnav said in a professional tone.
"Oh.. I am Sorry, Arnav. I wa-..." Khushi hesitated.
"Go to your desk... Now!" Arnav ordered.
Khushi could not believe her bad luck. She was late for Her first promotions review meeting.
Damn.
As She neared Her desk, Everyone started looking at Her in an admiring way and some of them even smiled brightly.
"What is happening??" Khushi questioned Lavanya whose was sitting on the next desk.
"You have been cleared from this desk... Take all Your stuff and go up to the 14th Floor." Lavanya winked.
"Arnav's cabin is on 14th floor. I have been for sure sacked. Life is finished! Career is dead and I am no more!" Khushi blabbered all the way in the lift up to the 14th floor.
"Miss Khushi Gupta... You are requested to go to Room 1402... " Aman Mehra instructed as soon as She reached the floor.
"Oh Ok.. but Why??" Khushi inquired in confusion.
"There is a note explaining everything. Enjoy." Aman smiled and walked away.
Khushi was speechless. Aman's last word kept echoing in her Mind.
"Enjoy?? Enjoy What?? Enjoy the last day in the company??" Khushi muttered as she entered Room No 1402.
The room was huge and exquisitely furnished but there was no one in the room.
Khushi proceeded towards the huge table and picked up the note kept on the table.
Khushi,
Hope You like this room. The Delhi skyline view from this room is perfect. And I am sure, You will do the best job of the Executive Manager of the company.
-Arnav Singh Raizada
Chief Executive Officer
"EXECUTIVE MANAGER??" Khushi screamed at the top of Her voice.
"Don't You think that is against the ethical behavior of the employees of this company to scream like that??"
Khushi swiftly turned around to witness Arnav leaning on the door and smirking.
"So.. How does it feel Ms. Manager???" Arnav teased.
"Arn-.. Arnav.. I don't know what to say??" Khushi hesitated.
"Just one hour back , You had so much to say about Me to Payal..." Arnav smirked wide again.
Khushi was shocked beyond comprehension listening to Arnav's statement.
"Payal-.. Uh... You.. How did You know???" Khushi blurted out.
Arnav walked forward and wrapped His arms around Khushi making Khushi blush profusely.
"You need to check Your phone screen before calling anyone." Arnav responded while flipping the phone in Khushi's hand and revealing her mistake.
"OMG... It was You, Again??" Khushi stared at Her phone screen with wide eyes.
"Yup! And I heard that You have fallen head over heels with the 'repairman'??" Arnav teased.
Khushi gasped but caught on to Arnav's game."Yeah. To thank Him for His great customer service."
"I think the repairman would like to return the favor back because He too has fallen head over heels for His customer." Arnav said and pecked Khushi's lips."I Love You, Khushi."
"I Love You, Arnav." Khushi whispered against His lips.
It was a right beginning of a new life for them which started with a wrong number.
The Perfect Wrong Number.❤️❤️
