No More Fate-Mate Updates! *Note on Page 44

Readers:

As some of you know already, I have removed Fate-Mate (all of it) from the Forum.

One of the readers informed me that Fate-Mate has been copied on Facebook by someone, obviously without my permission.

I have always been against plagiarism and I have always supported any/all victimized writers on this forum.

Fate-Mate is not just a fan-fiction for me; it's my story, which happens to be very close to me. It's almost a part of me. I write it with all my heart and soul.

And I DO NOT appreciate and will NOT tolerate someone just stealing my story and using it on their Facebook page.

I might not be aware of all the rules and regulations on the forum ' but what I know so far, you are NOT allowed to cut and paste a story on anyone's FB page, you can only add the link. But this person has cut and paste the first 3 chapters (without my permission) and without giving appropriate credit.

I will not write on the forum any longer ' I have minimal tolerance when it comes to plagiarism.

What is plagiarism? In simple words it means'. Literary theft. Plagiarism occurs when a writer duplicates another writer's language or ideas and then calls the work his or her own. Copyright laws protect writers' words as their legal property. To avoid the charge of plagiarism, writers take care to credit those from whom they borrow and quote.

This person not only had the audacity to steal my work without my permission but to top it all, this person didn't even think it was necessary to provide proper credit.

Hence, there won't be any more update for Fate-Mate on this forum.

Presently, I don't even feel like writing because of this inappropriate behavior of this person but I understand that there are loyal readers who still want to read this story...

So even if I do decide to write again, I will start writing only on my blog ( a restricted one) and I will only provide access to those readers who I know for sure won't misuse my story.

I am sorry for any inconvenience but I can NOT and will NOT tolerate this type of abuse from anyone when it comes to my writing.

I get where are you coming from but please don't stop writing Fate-Mate I am already scared from the recent chapter and if you leaving us hanging than I will be dead. Please update in your blog

that we all love your story...
and not reading it will be not kind for us...

i read the story one night when i was really upset with my life...
and now..this..its a part...

anyways...this plagiarism has proved again...that we loyal readers are not worth enough...

This is disgusting to steal someones work n doesnt even acknowledge them!!!but u please dnt stop writing...or if in blog pls add me to ur list..i guess u dnt know me n hence i wont get to read ur work on blog!!
