Episode 109

Did he walks down the stairs or was is glimpse into heaven? There she sits in the center, surrounding her self with dozens of diyas (candles), the gentle flickering from the dozens of diyas gleefully dance on her face. Best of all, she in the color that appeals to him most, red, the color of passions and desires and of love..The first time he saw her in red, he lost a part of himself that he hasn't been able to recover since. This second time her pull is just as magnetic. He is mesmerized the same way and just like that day, his feet move towards her as if hypnotized.

The wind blows while she lights another candle, she feels his presence and looks up to his admiring eyes. She stands up. A slights smile appears on his face as his heart fills with her beauty.

Even La's entrance wasn't enough to divert his attention off of Khushi, till she talks "what did you do? you've surrounded yourself between candles" she tries to get out, but has a tough time. La asks ASR to give her a hand, well he wouldn't say no to that!
He slowly makes his way into the circle, taking a closer look, he gulps down his attraction. By reaching her, symbolically he has completely made it into her heart, maybe at this moment she knows it's not acidity, or black magic, it's something else, its pyaar.

She has come a long way in understanding this Rakshas, she knows he's anything but. Today she willing to hold his hand and follow his lead. She will be ready to confess her feelings by that poolside later. He continues to walk her out, still mesmerized by her beauty, he can't take his eyes off of her.

Not used to high heels, she would trip and he would catch her...hamesha.

The way her hand fits into his, he's loving it, even looks at her to see how she feels. The beautiful journey comes to an end, but their hands linger in each others.

Actually things have felt just right with each other for some time, just like the red saari...another loud and clear message sent by DM. As soon as Khushi had opened the box, he had immediately fell in love "kitni sundar hai!"...like any girl would do, she walks to the mirror and drapes it across her shoulder with a big smile on her face. It was just a new sari and but i felt her smiling a bit wider.

It wasn't the saari Anjali had intended on giving her, but the it seemed to have chosen Khushi. Its customary that the in-laws would gift the daughter in-laws a new saari for Diwali, but what made Anjali decide to give Khushi one, the girl who she hired to train La? does the fact that it is from Anjaliji, Arnavji's sister, have her grinning from side to side? there was something special about this saari in the auspicious red.
When Khushi learns that the it was accidentally switched, she feels terrible,
"maaf kijiye Lavanya ji woh...hame pata nahi tha"
"i'm sorry Lavanya ji, i didn't know"

Beautiful the way CVs show how Khushi never intended to steal the red Sari, it was planned by some unknown forces...just like the man they both have in common, La's response is also telling of the future "Don't be so silly! it looks great on you" as that will be her reaction when she finally sees where Arnav's heart, also red, truly lies.

In this little journey of theirs was so much promise, everything was the way it was meant to be, everything was right, felt right.

For Khushi, within the last few days in the midst of her confusion, the sense of belonging with him never left. Taking care of him when he fainted, stopping his from leaving on a hungry stomach without a car in Nainital, running to his strong shoulders when life became too much to handle. "Arnavji" just like she pulled out of the oil when she stress made jilebi again, all of her being giving her sign, she felt close to him, somewhere he became special, special enough to sweetly wrap his sugar-free sukha halwa that she specially made for him. And when Payal asks "What's this?" she almost gives herself away "yeh Arnav ji ke ...unhe meetha mana hai na" she quickly changes her tone from caring to passive. Even when she handed the meethai to OP after reaching the RM, she makes sure to stress ""yeh dabba Arnavji ke liye, isme bina shakkar ki mittai"...i have a feeling she put some extra love and care into making that sugar-fre halwa.
Arnav also continues to stay lost in her essence, under her "jaadu tona" (spell). He has ebraced these feeling with open arms undlike the frustrated ones he used to have. He has completely let his guard down and now that he's has a strong sense of Khushi's "ulaj (tanglement)" the meaning behind that lone tear when he hugged La is clear allows him perhaps to go even more deeper. Not to mention he can also hear her "dhak dhaks."

Their oneness is surfacing within both of them, a sense of belonging to each other. The proof is in the diya(candle) that she made for his home, which he allowed her to use clay from this beloved garden ... 'whats mine is yours" right?...and when one of the diyas accidentally slips from La, he catches it, remembering that Khush made it he softly grazes over it with his thumb demonstrating once again his desire to feel her and to breathe her in.

They came a long way in just a few days, by the time this Diwali arrived, both have brought light in each other in the truest sense. Both seem to be on the same page now, longing and wanting only eachother. But then again its never easy with these two, A crossroads is upon them. With the help of a lost and found payal some jaadu (magic) and nasha (high) let us do a walk backwards till the crossroad arrives... in between some madhoshiyan as well

DROOL CORNER!!!!!!

Ami, very lovely analysis just want to read before sleep as while wanderind through pages eyes fell on it.Very nice collages.Like the yearning and hankering between them. The magic and magnetic pull is getting so strong for him and he is drawn towards it without any force and above all can't stop."kissi larki se fadak nahin padta"
She got some signs which she is trying to connect her dhak dhak with him,a feeling for him with scare and bafflement but subconscious is sending right signal though for both but egoistic denial is fixed at its place.
You know in 111 I felt she shouldn't come to him right away,if she gives him some time things would have been different though I liked her way of drilling him for his actions.

Love the way you described her condition as she is being crazy finding about what's going on with her.Just imagine and I loved her question to Anjali how do you know this is a guy for you very legitimate one.
Lots of purple,blue and red👏👏👏

Good idea⭐️⭐️⭐️
let us do a walk backwards till the crossroad arrives... in between some madhoshiyan as well

Approval

No Diya can stop him, he just walks right through the lamps to her. They are gazing at each other, her savior always. He gives her the gift of his hand to help guide her through the lamp fire. She slowly and hesitantly places her hand in his; AAAHH that is where it belongs. He looks at her again almost to acknowledge that that IS where her hand belongs- in his always. He tightens his fingers around hers and they turn to walk out of that center ring. His eyes on her, they walk out of the diya rings; he doesn't even have to look where he is going. She is his light, she will guide him. She trips and he grabs her, she holds on to him tightly, the closeness just too much. She has to step back, she can't take it and they continue out of the diya rows, eyes still never leaving each other hands held fast until Lavanya disturbs them. Kushi drops his hand. Lavanya notices that her payal is missing. It must have dropped over there Lavanya says. Kushi denies it, it was lost. Lavanya wants to know why she didn't buy another one and Kushi tells her it was her mother's. That is why she didn't replace it. His eyes widen; had he forgotten he has the payal? Or is it that he has just learned it was her mother's payals and she wears them to remain close to her. Shall we go? Kushi asks Lavanya. They leave, he is thinking, you can tell, he leaves. Kushi turns to look at him and he is gone.

In his room he is holding at arm's length a piece of silver jewelry, a payal, one that belongs to Kushi. He remembers the night he found it when it came off her ankle at poolside, they had words that night.

"Chote!" Anjali calls. He turns around and places the payal possessively in his trouser pocket. Anjali comes in all smiles and says that Nani wants to tell him something. Nani begins to tell him that today after what Ms. Kashyap has done'"Oh God, Nani, now what happened?"He asks. She continues that she can't believe she is going to say this but after the way Lavanya spoke to her friends and maintained the dignity of the Raizada family she wholeheartedly gives her approval of him marrying her. His eyes flash and he turns his back on them. Anjali and Nani ask what happened. He turns around and says if you think this will make him change his mind about marriage they are sorely mistaken. Nani answers him that he should think calmly and reconsider his decision.

Lavanya is so happy and gushing to Kuhsi that Nani has finally given her approval. She thanks Kushi for her help. ASR will surely marry her now. Kushi who was assisting Lavanya with her jewelry stops and has a far away look in her eyes. She seems sad, disappointed almost, of course she does, she didn't mean to fall in love with him too! It was HER job to help Lavany gain Nani's approval so SHE can marry ASR. Such a mix of emotions she is feeling. Lavanya asks her why she looks so sad and tells her this time he can't say no to her. OP asks where Di is the guests are here. Kushi tells Lavanya to go and greet the guests and she will tell Anjali.

Shyam is grumbling about Kushi and she then knocks on the door calling for Anjali. He dives onto the bed and under the covers. Kushi enters calling for Anjali and he sneezes. She realizes that it must be her husband in the bed and asks if he is okay and if she can get him anything. She walks closer, he sneezes, and just as she is about to be able to see him Anjali comes in and saves Shyam's day. What a good wife she is! She says to Kushi he must be sleeping and Kushi says he just sneezed. Anjali goes over and checks on him and like a mother she tucks him in. He has her approval and love always. Kushi says she came to get her as the guests have arrived. They leave. He opens his eyes and says he must get Kushi out of this house.

Mami is receiving guests and bragging as usual, she can be so annoying. Anjali is explaining how her husband isn't well so he is resting. The party is in full swing. Nani introduces Lavanya to someone and she appropriately folds her hands in introduction and says, Namaste. Kushi is standing when she feels the gust of wind; he is near. She looks up and there are his eyes across the room. They find each other, glued. Butterflies. Her concentration interrupted by Lavanya who pulls her hand and walks with her. Lavanya is conversing away and Kushi is distracted all she can hear or see is him from across the room.

This scene, the music is just breath taking. I wish I knew what the lyrics meant. Even without knowing my breath quickens, my heart beats rapidly and I have those butterflies. Is this what she is feeling? It feels like when I first met my husband, John.

They steal glances at each other and every once in a while Lavanya taps Kushi on the shoulder regaining her attention. Her back could be towards him but she knows he is there. She looks back over her shoulder and yes they are there, those chocolate puppy dog eyes intently gazing at her. She tries to continue her conversation but we can see her breath is quickening. Oh what he does to her just standing across a room. She strolls, he strolls; parallel to her across the room, not too far. Every once in a while during there stroll one or the other stops to greet someone but the other is not too far away keeping a watchful eye.

Anjali is introduced to Lavanya's friends. She is looking for Chote. They call him over and Kushi and Arnav are pretty uncomfortable with their attraction. He is standing in between Di and Kushi and his eyes always shoot sideways to catch a glimpse of Kushi and Kushi is doing the same. Lavanya goes around and places herself hanging on his arm. Mami comes over and says her friend's want to meet Anjali and Lavanya so they leave and so does Lavanya's friends, leaving Kuhsi and Arnav alone together. They both seem awkward and they leave in opposite directions. Yeah that should do it'NOT!

And when they separate they still look back; first one then the other. Finally he decides so he turns around and she is gone. Oh there she is, she feels him, looks up, he's coming! He walks forward she walks backward right into a waiter and he is disturbed by lavanya snapping at him asking what's the matter as she is looking around trying to see what has gotten his attention. She walks away his eyes following her as Lavanya grabs him by the arm and says let's go! Not once but twice!

She goes to poolside lighting more diyas and tells OP to tell Anjali that she is taking care of them. He comes to poolside and says, "Kushi". She is stunned and as she gets up she twists her ankle. OOF, she squeaks. He reaches out and holds her up. She tries to move and she squeals again in pain. He tells her to come and he guides her to the lounge chair. He kneels in front of her and they look deep into each others eyes, he reaches down to grab hold of her foot and she slides her foot under her sari. He looks at her and he takes her hand and places it on her knee. His eyes change become firm, reassuring her he will take care and she will do what he wants. He reaches down and takes her foot by the ankle and places it on his bent knee and he lifts her sari above her ankle. She looks at him and he looks down respectfully. He holds her heel and the other hand slides up the front of her foot to grasp it but that slow gentle sensation brings shivers to her. He looks at her and says this is going to hurt and gives one good twist. She reaches out grabbing his shoulder as she squealed in pain and he does it again the other way, as she squeals again. He looks at her and says are you alright? She looks at him releases her grasp from his shoulder and tries to remove her foot from his knee; but he doesn't let her foot go. She has a questioning look. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out her mother's payal. He has the look of a little boy who has been caught with his hand in the unsweetened cookie jar. His deep, chocolate brown, puppy dog eyes just yearning to tell her exactly how it came to him and how he held it with reverance with his personal belongings in his closet.

The quiet poolside, the ambiance of radiant twinkling fairy lights, soft flames shining from the lit diyas and the stars above are all showering their approval for this handsome hero and the damsel in distress.

And the music whispers'

Its magic, a spell, intoxication...forgetting you, where could I go?

The way you look at me, where could I hide myself?

This moment belongs to us, so let's live this moment, Let us live burning, like flames...

Don't disappear in a fleeting moment, Touching you, let me make sure;

who knows
when I'll have this moment again.

I lost myself just like this in your arms.

Yielding to desire, I began to wake.

After what I've found today, I can't go away.

Erase all these distances.

It's magic, a spell, intoxication forgetting you, where could I go?
The way you look at me, where could I hide myself?

*this was the song translation playing in the episode.

wo, cynthia, i am dhak dhak. this was so good. they had words that night... love the elegance of your words there. his turning away, her mixed emotions, what a night this is.

my favourite bit though what yousay about being reminded of the first time you met john. can't tell you how many times my early day with jacob float by in my head as i watch. not that our story had any physical resemblance, though yes, there were certain similarities of character... but that's not it. the touch points, the key elements of romance and love, so much here, i bet anyone who has ever been in love will find reminders and reflections. and you know, i know that dhak dhak really happens. sometimes even now. so do those awful, hurtful fights. a bit of lovin' and a little hatin'... got to have it all. what.

agree, in this episode the song was perfect and added much. though in 111, it was really superfluous for me.

No samin i could never leave IPK not for a single day. i actually started with the first promo. I was a huge fan of Barun and Sanaya before IPK. So when i saw the promo I couldn't resist to watch it from the very first episode.
Honestly, buaji is more unbearable than creepwa.

Samin, I have no such thoughts of ever leaving IPK even at one of Arshi's painful and intense time! I'm in it through thick and thin!! I know it's hard to see them in so much pain, but I'm always willing to embrace it all! I think they both have to go through the pain to realize what they meant to each other! They have to learn acceptance and be brave enough to let their guards down (let go of their egos)! At this point, ASR's wall has broken down quite a bit but he's not ready to embrace his feelings! He sees love as a weakness!

Episode 110: Jaadu & Nasha

The payal dangles from his fisted hands yet again. He had kept it close, kept it safe and only he knows how many other times he pulled it out to admire the "Khushi-ness" it exudes. The chirpy loud, happy, beautiful piece of jewelry fell out off her ankle, only to be noticed by Arnav. Before her payal fell into his life, it was her pearls that found their way into his pocked the day they met, but when thoughts of her became too much and he thought she had left him "hemesha ke liye", he vigorously threw them out, in hopes that she would leave with them. However the payal he would go out to rescues when no one was looking. Maybe his wanting to keep the payal marked her return back into his life...whatever it was he immediately felt the attachment towards it. Today he learns its significance to Khushi, they are the only thing left of her Amma, who he knows by now just how much it means to Khushi. As he holds it up, seems a mix of emotions run through him, not wanting to part with it, but at the same time he knows he must. On a higher level, could it be just that the purpose of the payal, is over? it did have a mind of its own when it freed itself from Khushi's ankle and chose to stay with Arnav. At that time it was uncertain when they would see each other next. Arnav needed something to live by. Now her place in his life, his heart has become permanent. He would never be able to throw her out try as he may... starting tonight.

"Chotey" His thoughts are interrupted by Anjali and Naniji, he quickly puts away the payal in his pocket. Anjali has a huge smile on her face "Chotey, nani wants to say something to you" Nani also in a good mood as La has made her proud by sticking up for the RM family and its values in front of her friends.

Nani explains,"i never thought i would say this in my dreams but the way Miss.Kashyap"

"Oh God, now what happened" poor guy, so used to the pattern of Nani's complaints about La.

"let me complete my sentence, the way she stood up and protected the respected of the Raizadas in front of her friends, i felt really good...maybe this is the Ms.Kashyap i'm looking for so i've mad a decision...I have no problem with yours and Ms.kashyap marriage"

Arnav knew what was coming as Nani has never talked so highly, he was uneasy as she went on. La might have changed but Nani forgets that his outlook on marriage hasn't, and makes no plans to ...except for the occasional fake marriage with a crazy drama queen in Nainital.

He turns around in anger and frustration, Anjali asks "what's wrong?"

I know things are being setup for later, but still wonder why they expected some other reaction from him, hasn't he been completely clear that he doesn't want to marry? He broke up with La at one point didn't he? if he really wanted to marry La, can Nani really stop him?

"Nani if you think by telling me all this, i'll marry Lavanya, then you think wrong" he clarifies again. Nani leaves disappointed after telling him to think about it "if not today then tomorrow, you must start your family life" Also, the sympathy for La is tremendous as she becomes the innocent victim in all of this. I still fail to understand her constant ignoring of Arnav's attraction towards Khushi at times even forgetting it, why did she ask him to help her through the diyas when she know he feels something for her? How did she figure that just because Nani accepted her, ASR would also as his wife?

"Ab ASR mujhse zaroor shaadi karenge" (now he'll marry me for sure)" elated she tells chamkili.

There is that look on Khushi's face, just one step short of a lone tear drop. "chamkili, what happened, why do you look sad, don't worry this time ASR won't be able to say no to me" Khushi fights off the strong feelings to force a smile.

"The guests have started to come." Op comes to inform.

The party is in full swing, mamji ready to "show off" the decor and the "buttiful boquet" While Anjali once again has to answer questions about her husband. Khushi comes down with La, Nani proudly introduces her to her guests.

As Khushi stands there, the gust is back stronger than before bringing along with it pure jaadu (magic). Her eyes draw to him and for the first time she sees it, his "mehsoos" of her, as he turns to answer her call the eyes know exactly where to look. He can read her startled face, the same feeling he has when he felt her "mehsoos" of him.

La interrupts and pulls her away just as the tunes of the majestic song "jaadu hai nasha hai" chimes in and Khushi's eyes default back to him, his eyes still where she left them. Uff the electrifying mutual attraction here is intoxicating, no confusions from her, no walls to hold him back, just two people only seeing, feeling the scorch of each other in a crowded party.

She can't look away, neither can he, soon they embrace in dance of their own, gliding together across the room. He matches her steps , fully aware of the effects they have on each other.

She soon looses him to a guest, but not his attention. Their sizzling atraction, how did they manage to keep is a secret in this room full of people? Even when on opposite side of the room, it was as they were inches from each other. Perhaps that's why Khushi's got flustered when Anajli casually asked where Chotey was, she stayed mum, it may have given her away?

When he walks over he stood by Khushi, but her dhak dhaks definetly got faster than her saansein (breaths)...till La slides in in between. Soon after they were left alone, both in front of each other, hesitating to leave, slowly they start walking the opposite direction

He can no longer fight the magnetism, turning around he catches her attention. With a determination and intentions of some sort he steps towards her, taken back by his fierce-ness, she steps back and bumps into someone. Maybe he would've given her the payal back here had La not snapped her fingers to snap him out of it, but have a feeling there would've been more. Arnav seemed irritated as Khushi had disappeared.

For someone who always accidentally bought these two together, she sure is interrupting them a lot today. Telling of whats to come maybe?

All the enthrallment, the desires, the attractions follow them outside by the poolside to add a little nasha (buzz/high) to their magical night.. Khushi sets up more diyas by the poolside. OP leaves, while a pair of long legs make an entry in slow motion behind her. Alone at last. On his face, a certain sense of urgency to be close to her, a "cant stay away". His voice soft, sweet, vulnerable, uff how her name sounds with his husky voice in such a state.

"Khushi"

Khushi goes still for moment, perhaps that determined walk of his full of intentions still fresh in her mind, she tries to get up fast and loses balance and twists her ankle, but as hamesha, he "sambhaaled" her.

"come"

He walks her a few steps to the lounge chair, and after sitting her down, he kneels inches away from her face, his hands on her shoulder, he's been itching to be this close to her all night. How badly does he want her?

She senses his strong sexual desires for her, as soon as he looks down to her feet, she retracts them under her saari pleats. He look displeased. Immediately with full rights he grabs her hand from the pleats and moves it up but a "trust me" vibe along with it. He lifts up her leg and puts it on his thigh. How very intimate and profound..she is no low-status girl, she's everything.

I can feel his fingers gently brushing on her feet, and bit a of a tickle too.

He gets into position. "thoda dard hoga" a slight warning A quick jerk to the left "aahh" she lets out and her hand immediately grabs on to her shoulder, another quick jerk to the right the same reaction. Who knew sprained ankles can result in such a sexy moments. Only Sobti would make want to sprain my ankle...

The much talked about scene with double meaning, after watching again, the way she grabs his shoulder and especially these sensuality in his eyes as she lets out her pain are suggestive of a sexual act. Perhaps it was the only way the CVs could relay their intensity and the depth of their desires especially on Arnav's side.

"Ab teek hai?" - "is it ok now?"

Not in her right mind to answer him, all she can do is remove her hand off his shoulder fast. Her heel still in his hold, she tries to lift it up but he keeps the hold. she's puzzled. Slowly he reaches into his pocket and pulls up her Amma's payal, his eye go down for a second as he is guilty of taking it and it meant so much to her.

She is in disbelief, questioning him quietly. Seems payal did have one more purpose after all.

I need to stop here with this episode, and brace myself for the major madhhoshiyas (intoxications) on the way.

DROOL CORNER!!!!!!

❤️ this expression as he watched Khushi witness her mehsoos in him❤️

This is amazing analysis, BD (If i could call you that)!

Loved every word of it...the parts that were mind blowing in bold above.
You are so right about the sexiness of that ankle sprain scene. Something so intimate about the way it was executed. "Thoda dard hoga"...and then her grabbing his shoulder tight...and the way he keeps looking at her face during the "sprain treatment" ... My dhak dhak specifically gets the fastest at that point!
And need i say...Sanaya looked absolutely gorgeous in these episodes...and our Sexy boy..well...we all agree about what this haircut did to him...He looked the best in this haircut..Diwali scenes and the one in the temple during bandage engagement...are the ones where he looked his best!

Have been away all these days...and missing all the action here at the forum :(
Had guests over and then the usual grind...work-home-work..
weekend's finally here and hope to catch up on all the updates and some interesting discussions about how each of these 2 reacted and why! Wow...!
