The actor Barun Sobti became popular as Arnav Singh Raizada in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon. But his decision to quit the show a year-anda-half later, in November (2012), had a devastating effect. The channel had to end the show abruptly after the viewers refused to settle for anyone else.
