SOOO Sweet aparna... I always wanted to see this interaction...

Eventhough Mamiji is rude from outside, she isn't that actually. This was understood by Khushi, who of all the people had been through many heartbreaking comments of Mamiji... When she said to Payal before they came with Shagun... "Haan Mamiji thoda ajeeb hain..lekin woh itni bhi buri nahi hain." Her Love for Arnav was shown so much during the kidnap track... After wedding, her hidden love fore her Daughter-in-laws were only seen a few times.. When Payal and Akash were leaving for US and when Khushi was in Mrs.India... That was really weak, plot wasn't that good was it...

So i was hoping for this to come out in Vignettes... Although my version was along the lines of loyalty, supporting Khushi, when some modern churail (like sheetal) enters the picture...who would try to look down on Khushi, and despite Mamiji always talked of having a miss-India-wala-daughter-in-law, she will support Khsuhi, just like she used to do when someone snub Anjali about the absence of Damaad Ji... Chalo koi baat nahin, your version was really sweet, it makes sense, Khushi must naturally afraid of Arnav not being able to communicate with her after what happened in the kidnap track after all, in fact, she must be having a phobia of Arnav-Being-Abroad...

YOu are right! This interaction would have been totally appreciated in the show!!! I wanted to see more Mami - Khushi bonding! I loved when they put thier heads together to find arnav!

Now this is the side of Mamiji I adored during the kidnapping phase. I absolutely hated the U-turn of Mamiji after the kidnapping ended. It is like what all character growth I saw in mamiji got completely wiped out after the kidnapping ended and even after Shyam exposure, I couldn't see the Mamiji back as the creatives got busy with Sheetal track and Mrs.India track. Sigh. Reading this was really good - got back good memories. Thanks for the pm.

I think this has to be the expression by everyone whoever reads your Vignettes...

Didn't think it was possible but you make me miss the serial more and more whenever i read your stories. 😭

So true i really missed this khushi and mami bonding in the serial. God alone knows why they took their relationship to a tangent after showing them bond during the kidnapping episodes.

Loved the ending...Hey may be this vignette is part of vignette 7 - Frequent Flyer...😉

Thanks Aparna...for always recreating the magic for us
