Arnav was busy in his driving for nanital trip. When he saw something unexpected and an evil smile crept on his lips.
Arnav: khushi Singh rana
Khushi called her driver and was all set to leave for nanital. But after coming few miles away, from city suddenly her car broke down. Might be engine got heated up. Driver said it will take time to repair the car as they can't take anyone help. It was a jungle area and no one seems to be till far away. Khushi angrily stomped her foot on car's tyre. She just hates to be late. That when arnav saw khushi and a smile made its way against his foul mood. He don't he was happy to see her or happy with fact that he is only the way for her to get help.
Khushi saw a suv coming from distance. Though she if in normal situation had never take life from an stranger but here she not know how much time will car take to be repaired also she can't afford to be late in meeting. So she decided to take help from the men in car.
She extends her hand for lift from car. Car stopped. Khushi go near it.
khushi: hi can you please help us. Actually my car got in a problem. And I have to reach urgently at nanital.
Khushi requested. The men in car put down car glasses. khushi was shocked to see him. Who was none other than arnav singh raizada.
Arnav: hi
(Smirk)
Khushi: aa..App
(Stammer)
Arnav: hhh ha mai
(Replicating her)
Kya hua gadi karab hogayi, princess khushi rana.
(What happened princess rana.did your car got in any problem?)
(arnav asked enjoying the moment in himself.)
Khushi gave an angrily glare to him and turned opposite with hands holding on chest.
Khushi: ha

Arnav: oh pity. Anyways meeting is after an hour. so don't be late.
Saying this he turned on the engine again. Listening to which khushi turned with her mouth flung open as "o "shape.
Khushi: aap ja rahe hai
(You are going)
Arnav: obiously. And waise bhi you are intelligent enough to help yourself. Right
Khushi: ya right. Toh abhi bhi kyun ruke hua hai jayea na. aapko kya farak padha hai agar ek akeli ladki kisi sunsan sadak par iss tarah khadi rahe. Hum managed kar lege
(Ya right. Then why you are standing and wasting time. Go and do your work. What it matter to you if a poor girl is standing alone on road. I will manage it)
Arnav: akele kaha bahut saare jungli janwar bhi toh hoge tumhara saath dene ke liye.
(You are alone there are many wild animals here, who can give you a nice company)
Khushi got alert listening name of wild animals. She quickly hold arnav hands tightly and sticked to him.

Khushi asked cutely. Still hung to him. But arnav not listened to anything he was just got lost in her beauty. She look so beautiful even when scared, her long hair locks falling on her eyes, big dark eyes, small red nose, soft creamy cheeks which are touching his face right now. He gulped down his appear slowly. That was making him arouse dangerously. And her quivering lips, that always make her impatient and loose his sanity. He moves his hands to touch her. When khushi turned around for her answer. She was so much lost in her all worlds that unaware what affect her unknown actions were leaving on the men, whose hand she is holding near to her heart.
Khushi: dekhiye arnav. Jagda chodiya na.waise bhi agar hume sher ya chite ne kha liya toh aapka kya fyada. Humse galti hogayi hume uss tarike se baat nahi karni chaiye thi. Hum mafi mangte hai. Please hume aapki gadi mai bitha dijiye.
(See arnav, if some wild animal will kill me then that you will be in no gain. I am sorry I done a mistake I should not talk to you like that. Please take me too with you)
On getting no response from lost arnav, khushi loudly called her name and wag him.
Khushi:arnav
Arnav:ha
Khushi: kaha khoye hua hai
(Where are you lost?)
Arnav: a nothing (not meeting her eyes). Sit silently and fast we are getting late.
Khushi got happy knowing he is ready to give her lift. In excitement she comes forwards to hug him. And arnav who was ragging on himself for the stupidity he showed. Seeing khushi approaching near him he moved back with sudden jolt. He got remembered how khushi hit her when he kissed her first time forcefully.
Khushi: what the
She straightens herself knowing what she was going to do.
Arnav: what were you doing?
Khushi: mai kya. Kuch nahi voh, thanks
(Nothing I just want to say thanks to you)

She asked making some distance between them.arnav getting irritated answered rudely.
Arnav: nothing.
Ab aao aur gadi mai baith jao.mere pass purra time nahi hai tumhari nautanki dekhne ke liye
(Come sit in car, I don't have full day to entertain your stupid talks)
Khushi: aa rahe hai.
(Coming)
(Loudly)
Laad governor kahike.
Journey from car to nanital was a silent one. Arnav was throwing his anger on poor wheel. While khushi just ignore it assuming him little crack. She just took out her ipad and plugging headphone in her ears. And closed her eyes. Separating herself from surroundings. And taking light nape.
Arnav stopped the car in front of their apartment. Khushi was in deep sleep till now, open her eyes lazily as car stopped. She walked down. Arnav give keys to guards and moved inside without exchanging any words with khushi.which surprised her lot. But as if she care. She just shook her head and handling her goods to the servant who came just down walked in apartment. As khushi entered the house she can't stop to admire its look. It was just gorgeous. Be its classy decor, or colors selection or perfect fixtures. Everything was looking pretty. Arnav was coming out of kitchen after having some water, when he saw khushi admiring the look of house.
He ask casually
Arnav: I hope you will have no problem in sharing same apartment with me Miss rana
Khushi: why do I. we are sharing same apartment not bed. And I am not from those who make big issues on these small things. It will be good that we are at same place.it will help us in coordinating with each other and finishing fast project work.
Arnav: ok so we will meet after 15 min in conference room
Khushi: sure
Khushi thought to say thanks to him for the help he gave her. She was hesitating, and till she prepare herself. Arnav leave from there. But turned again to say to her that
Arnav: by the way you not need to say thanks. It's ok
Khushi: really thanks for that.
(Sarcastically)
And both depart to their room.
Meeting got over soon, and then both got out seeing location for their store. And planned out field strategy. With advertising plan. Arnav and khushi both were engrossed in work so much that they not got any clue when day turn to night. They both were giving their best as team. Individually how much they but as a team they complement each other. Arnav experience and khushi ideas. This was not going unnoticed by other team members too. And they were proud to be guide by them.
It was one of their employees who reminded them of time.
Employee: sir will it be fine if we continue work tomorrow.it is too late.
Arnav watch his watch and saw it was 9 o cloak of night.
Arnav: oh ya. Actually in work i not realized where the time gone. Ok you can leave. We will discuss rest tomorrow.
Employee: sir sorry but tomorrow there is holiday here. Tomorrow is teej and it is big celebration with lots of believe.
Arnav: actually I too heard about it a lot
Ok no problem keeps an off tomorrow.
Employee: thanks sir
All workers and employees leaved. Arnav too packed his file to be completed in home and thought to ask khushi if she coming home. He knocks her cabin.
Khushi: arnav please come.
Arnav come inside and saw her room which still unpacked. All files were scattered. And she was busy in making some presentation, not having any clue of her mess up hairs and her condition.
Arnav smiled and liked her dedication for works
Arnav: I was thinking we should leave now it is already very late, and it will time to reach apartment too.
Khushi: arnav I still have a lot of work pending, but you leave I will come with driver.
Arnav: no way you are leaving with me. I am not going to leave you alone here in strange place.
Arnav told with possessiveness. Khushi got surprised seeing his attitude.
Khushi: arnav I am not saying you to leave city, and I am a small kids ok I will managed it.
Arnav: right like I saw at evening. I know you are a big brave girl. But still it's my responsibility to take you safely at home. You have come with me and also will go back with me only. I can't leave you at strange place, it is not Delhi nanital. Understood.
I am waiting for you in car .pack your stuff and come soon
Arnav leave without letting her decide. Khushi one side felt strange seeing his behavior a caring and dominating but also got happy that he thought so much for her. When they have no relation between them. And not like mohit who leave her alone in Delhi that too for aboard. And he is her husband and before that best friend of her.
Leaving the confusion aside she packed her stuff and leave for home with arnav. It was same path, same person and same position. Nothing has changed between khushi and arnav. But yet they are getting different feelings sitting next to each other. Both were not leaving any chance to steel a glance of each other. There was an uneasiness developed between them.
Khushi: to herself
What are thinking khushi it is wrong. You are favouring an unknown person over your own husband.

Arnav: to himself
God dammit. Why I got week in front of her. Why a girl is affecting me so much. I only want to sleep with her nothing else no love no attachment. Then why her security, her fear, her safety is so important for me.

Both asked same question to themselves, when song changes in radio. And it sung

Both look at each other with wide eyes. And then looked at everywhere except each other felling embarrassed. khushi adjusting her duppata.
Khushi: aaj kal pata nahi kaise kaise gane bajte hai.
(Don't know what type of songs are played now days)
And changed the channel. But song playing on that, made them more uncomfortable.
"bahoo mai chale aao."
(Come in my arms)
Arnav angrily switch off the radio.
Khushi: better.
Passing a weak smile. Khushi moved her face on window. And then closed her eyes. Daring not to say anything. Arnav too took a long breath to calm him down. And focused on road and his driving. Till they reach house.
Arnav and khushi entered home silently. Both were feeling hungry. Khushi thought to make something for them. When she saw, Anjali coming out of her room.
Anjali: so you both came finally
Khushi: Anjali ji you here. I did not know you will also accompanying us.
Arnav: di I go and change. Please can you send my dinner in my room?
Anajli: sure arnav.
Khushi: anjaliji really it was a pleasant surprise to see you here
Anjali: actually khushiji we visit every year here. Tomorrow is teej and it is celebrated with lots of believers and on big scale here. There is a lord siva temple situated little far from city. That has lots of name. It is said who so ever wish anything on teej there and keep fast with true hearts, get that.
Khushi: wow you are keep teej fast. Even I was too. And that also first time. It will be not lots of help to me.
Anjali: really you believe in it.
Khushi: the matter is in our culture after
(Khushi was to mention about her marriage)
Shyam: Anjali will you ask her everything like this only making her stand. Let her get freshen up and then will talk full night at dining table.
Anjali: ya sorry khushiji you changed and come
Khushi: just five minute.
