Sorry Buddy you got your facts wrong.
Rain Hug was directed by Arshad - read it in an old interview of Arshad's. That was the first scene he directed.
Almost Kiss was also directed by Arshad - If you don't believe me, watch Sanaya's interview with Gul on Forum32. Even the ASR Breakdown scene was directed by Arshad - Read Barun's latest interview.

If you go to see, most of the Epic scenes of IPKKND, especially the Out of the World Rabba Ves were directed by Arshad. Yet he was never given credit, but only blamed. And what I don't like about LM is, if you read any of his interviews he makes it seem as if the entire credit of the best of IPKKND goes to him. He spoke about directing the Farmhouse scene in 45 mins but never mentioned Arshad. I read somewhere that it was a collaboration between the two.

Anyway, they say Actions speak louder than Words. I hope Arshad gets his due credit someday. As for me, I always prefered Arshad's direction.

Thanks guys for all your reponses.. sorry could not respond to everyone..

My point is the scenes that I mentioned in my post are all epic and we are still watching them and these are all directed by arshad, Then why is he not credited and praised.. IPK is a love story and most of epic arshi scenes were directed by Arshad,

LM was good too but he is way overrated..Story went bad from Feb.. Not because of Direction.. If that was the case then after remarriage, LM directed the Shitall and mrs. India tracks.. Both were worst tracks of IPK..

When I think about it Swami and GM tracks were not that bad compared to shitall and Mrs. India..

Its the writing that has been disappointing since feb/March not the Director

Both LM and Arshad did justice to the show.as a team by presenting some of the epic scenes to us...So it is not fair to compare them.They did bad only when their team broke and the script/storyline turned out to be worst...Storyline is the main thing...Yes people here r very much hyped about LM... as he interact with fans well...very techsalvy which Arshad was not...I was very disappointed when Arshad was bashed mercilessly for the OTT scenes post Feb episodes when the storyline itself is poor ... Similarly LM can't do anything in post remarriage epis when the script iself is poor

Arshad was very underrated. I have always felt that. LM and Arshad together made a stellar team, and maybe this is why the initial 8-9 months were extraordinary.

If we look at the after hate marriage episodes, the man was Arshad alone - and the episodes were moderately beautiful. We kept complaining. (barring a few)

Again, if we look at the after remarriage episodes, the man was LM alone, and again the episodes were just okay. (barring a few) Oh IPK forum was on a bashing spree by then!

Get the drift? - it was always a joint effort.

Which is why I never understood the huge hue and cry about bringing LM back to IPK.

To LM's credit, he directed Shyam's second revelation, the bandage engagement scene (not sure), the guesthouse scene (I have seen a picture).

And those were one of the best scenes in IPK.

I felt LM was good with emotions, drama and adding finesse. Arshad was perfect for hardcore romance. The unadulterated Rabba Ves I mean.

Just checked the remarriage 21-28th episodes the credit goes to both Arshad Khan and Lalit Mohan and I think it was AK who did the actual remarriage because his name comes first even all through Sangeet. Farmhouse accident was actually by Nissar Parvez and Maan Singh.
He name comes first in new year's track

The main problem was bcoz LM was on social networking site & arshad was not. People get to know abt LM more than arshad & here some people become judgemental abt them..That what I think.
