Thank goodness I didn't dive in heart first, when I saw my first episode of IPK I thought who is his guy? I went straight to my Google Chacha and was informed he is born on 21st August 1984 (made him 3.5 years younger than me) and married to his childhood sweetheart and I thought to myself "Awww, how lovely 👏." So as soon as I learnt the name Barun Sobti I also learnt he is married. So I didn't go through any heartbreak fortunately. I was single at the time, but thanks to Google I always thought it would be nice to have someone "LIKE" Barun.

Prior to me being addicted to IPKKND me and my nephew were very close, he's practically like a son to me. But the more and more I became infatuated with IPK and then the actors the more annoyed my nephew started to get. I asked him "Why are you so rude about Barun? What has he ever done to you?" But his reply was "I just don't think he's good actor and you force me to watch IPK or I have to watch news segments (SBS/SBB) when I come over and I can't even play the PS3 or watch my channels." I think he thought I became boring since IPK happened to me and he blames Barun for making his Masi from a Funty (fun Aunty) to a Couch Potato that doesn't take him out anymore and is always like Barun this and Barun that. Only after IPK finished I took him to watch Dabaang 2 and that to on the condition that if my fiance doesn't take me to watch MAMR my nephew will come with me. Just to annoy me he'll say something negative about Barun when it has nothing to do with the situation, he knows I'll start defending Barun, so he just winds me up. Now it makes sense, I think you are right about the whole rivalry thing. My nephew is crackers, as much as I admire Barun, family comes first and I'm sure even Barun himself would say the same thing.
