LOL well the actor needs to do some decent bit of acting to actually get nominated.

What about those unkept looks and haggard facial expressions? What about those bored looks and nonchalant attitude on screen? What about the fact that his BD did most of the work as he himself was out shooting for his movie?

Yeah he did a lot to make himself look like the ASR character he potrayed initially in the show *Im being sarcastic here*

there was nothing in the script for him to do as asr. he was literally made into a sp dikra doing yes di yes khushi thats it. he left the show at the right time thats another case that the show ended.
by the way its news to me that awards are given for looks and not acting 😲😕

ofcourse looks matter! That's an essential part of his job of trying to portray a character that is not him!

But then I also blame the directors for this. He should have been demanded to get his act straight and groom himself so that he would look like ASR, which bdw is what he is suppose to be doing as that's his JOB !

that i agree but for me more than unkept he was looking disintrested to me, last time during shyam revelation he was all suited buited in his real character but i dont know why his reaction was not too focused, only khushi and anjali reaction was shown properly heck even akash reaction was shown, i know he is a brother too but anjali and arnav relationship was more important. from that onward he looked disintrested😕
i think here he needs to work on. if you are working in a daily soap you cannot get mindblowing script everytime and their are less scope most of the time. he need to set his priorities right.
thats the only reason nowadays he is not taking more intrest in daily soaps and loooking for other medium. lets see what he chooses for himself.
