My Top 5 Dramatic scenes of Sanaya Irani in IPK
1. The guest house scene-
How do you appreciate a scene that is as epic as this. The line 'Baad main jaye aap, baad main jaye aapki naukri' is not only Kushi Kumari Gupta's best lines, to me it is also IPK's best lines. The scene is legendary and is probably etched in the memory of every IPK fan forever.
Sanaya absolutely nails this scene perfectly. The simmering anger, frustration for the man who is her boss but the fighting spirit she is not ready to let go... all just wow.
Ms Irani, take a bow!

2. The aftermath of the forced wedding
Total helplessness and a sense of defeat at the hands of the man who she truly loved and the family that showed her place as anything but their own child after being slapped by her mother.
Sanaya didn't speak much through the whole scene has she was down with a throat infection, but when you have eyes as expressive as her's who needs a voice, eh?

3. The nightside sleep by the pool during the 1st suhaagraath after the forced marriage
This is when Arnav asks her out to sleep by the poolside. If you haven't cried for Kushi in this scene, you probably need to get your tear glands examined.
Sanaya's acting moves you so much that you lose vision of the fact that Kushi is a virtual character. No wonder the forum was massively pissed off with the handling of this scene

4. The scene when she finds out the truth of Shyam Jha and the aftermath
The hurt, the pain was just so poignantly captured by Sanaya that it leaves you sad and distressed. No wonder even the stone hearted Arnav was moved enough to realise that something was wrong.

5. Parents become stars-
One of the most poignant moments of IPK and the subtle show of the companionship that holds these 2 complex and very diverse characters together. After this scene I nearly did start believing that dead people became stars.
Sanaya is one of the very few actors who can excel both at OTT scenes and subtle ones too.

Other mentions-
1. The hurt and pain during the jewellery drama by ASR with Lavanya and then her reactions to the insult at her class at the boutique.
2. At the hospital after her father is admitted- broke my heart
3. Her reactions post kidnapping drama when Shyam accuses her and she feels helpless to prove herself right
4. The hurt displayed by Kushi after her husband tells her off one more time after the kidnapping drama, cursing her for appearing in his life when she speaks to a fragile Anjali which makes Anjali opt for abortion. Never have I hated a virtual character like ASR so much, for causing pain to Kushi.

Sanaya is an actor par excellence - one of the best TV has seen!
I loved all the scenes you mentioned but will add two more just to showcase the breadth of her acting prowess1. Post-Diwali - Arnav announces his intention to marry Lavanya. The pain, the hurt, the confusion and the smile -oh the smile. It is for scenes like these that the song "Tum Itna Kyun Muskura Rahe Ho" were penned - Aces especially to the final snippet when her sari gets stuck in the car seat and she tugs at with such despair, you want to slam that door in Mr. Raizada's face. What an actor!

A great list, Naach_Basanti! Sanaya excelled in every scene, but those moments are particularly special. Indian televison has been saturated with crying, helpless heroines - every other daughter or bahu behaves almost like a doormat. But for the first time in many years, I finally had the opportunity to see a feisty and headstrong character. I was already a fan of the show, but Sanaya's portrayal of Khushi's outrage in the guesthouse scene and the following day when she gives in her resignation, had me falling hook, line and sinker for IPK.
Unfortunately I can't make a list, there are just too many moments! I also just want to give a special mention to Sanaya's diction and pronunciation. For someone who did not know Hindi till a few a years back, and still somehow struggles with it - she's brilliant in her dialogues! If she hadn't mentioned in her interviews, I would never have guessed that she is weak in speaking Hindi. Honestly, I think she could give many Bollywood actresses a run for their money... if only she was ambitious enough to try for movies. Sigh...
Anyhow, I look forward to seeing her in the Come Dine With Me show and any upcoming projects in the future.

Most of my favourite scenes of Sanaya were the ones she did with Barun and it's really difficult to pick and choose from the list as they were all brilliant to me.
1. The guest house scene & the resignation scene:
I agree, this is one of the best scenes of Sanaya where she was able to portray the tigress in Khushi. This character trait is something Khushi shares with Arnav and Sanaya captured the very essence of Khushi here. As a character, Khushi never reveals this side to anyone except Arnav. This trait of Khushi is what Arnav seems to be baiting throughout their relationship. Her initial outburst when Arnav rescues her and her protective instinct towards her family drives her to reveal herself to him - a wonderful performance by Sanaya. Khushi can never stop herself from revealing herself to Arnav and what started off in the crumbling guest house, continued on to the famous resignation scene and the dialogue "Bhaad me gaye aap aur bhaad me gaye aapki naukri". The moment Khushi realises she is no longer alone, she has her mask back on and is the Khushi everyone sees - "sanaki" as Buaji puts it.
2. The aftermath of the Diwali kiss and the Arnav's decision to marry Lavanya.
Here, I felt Sanaya captured Khushi's vulnerability, her confusion over her feelings for Arnav, her eagerness to find out more about these feelings that has risen in her, her subsequent breakdown when she realises the hurt in loving a man who is cold - Sanaya was perfect here.
3. The scenes where Khushi stands up to Dadi for her mother and her faith in Arnav's love
I felt the mandap scenes were among the top performances of Sanaya. She captured Khushi's love, respect & understanding for the woman who raised her, She was back to being fiercely protective of her loved ones. The way Khushi stands up to Dadi, the time when her love for Arnav was tested, Khushi's unwavering faith in the love for a man whose love gave her more pain than happiness - this was for me one of her award winning performances and one time when I truly felt that her industry peer failed in recognising her talent.
4. The scenes when Arnav gets upset with Khushi for behaving "normally" after he reveals his suspicions to her
I thought this scene was one of Sanaya's best. This is where she showed her the maturity that Nani always says she has. Khushi fails to react or respond to the baseless allegations by Arnav, the man whom she has been her true self. The pain when she realises that he failed to see through her love, her trust was captured brilliantly by Sanaya. "Agar ap hamaray baray mein itni ghatiya soch rakhtay hain to humko nahi lagta k ap hamari safai k laiq hain" ' Sanaya was able to capture the very essence of Khushi here.
5. During Preeto's wedding, where she is explaining to Garima how Arnav is the best husband in the whole world
I thought Sanaya was fantastic here, this was one of the scenes that brought a tear to my eyes. I literally have no words to explain that scene because the emotion in her eyes said everything and the wistfulness in her voice was perfect for this scene.
Other mentions (in additions to the ones you noted)
1. The scene where she stands up to Arnav, regarding Lavanya and his live in arrangement with her (Apni kamzoriyon ko apne lifestyle ke peeche math chupayie)
I thought, this was one of the best scenes of Sanaya. Khushi was scared of ASR's anger, but yet showed the courage to stand up to him. You could feel the vulnerability and fear of Khushi, at the same time her strong moral and social code showed through her.
2. The scene where Khushi reveals her fears that forces ASR to apologise to her.
I thought Sanaya was perfect in this scene. She captures Khushi's anger towards Arnav, her inability to stop herself from revealing her inner most thoughts to Arnav. I thought this was a brilliant performance
I am pretty sure there are more, but these are some of the best scenes of Sanaya to me. Somewhere along the way, the writer's lost the essence of the character, which is a pity.
I am sorry I am unable to provide any links to the episode at this moment in time.
