I know it's rich me saying I wish you had summoned up the courage to ask him about the aftershave, but being in the same situation I don't know if I'd be able to either. Although I summoned up the courage to be first to speak on Saturday evening for the question and answer and getting him to sing Balwant Kaur. Then making brief chit chat when I went up to him, although on the third time up I went a bit dippy and gave him my t shirt to sign, he wrote To and I'm just standing there in my own world until he broke me out of my daze by saying "Your name?" I was like "Oh sorry, Smina." 😳

But even on Sunday morning me and my cousin were in the lobby, not to far from the lifts, waiting for a taxi to come, when I saw a vision in combats, blue hoody and messy hair coming down the side corridor accompanied by a security guard. I looked at my cousin and said "That's Barun." He was literally about 10 feet away from us, just standing there waiting for a lift, it was obvious we spotted him, but my feet were grounded. My cousin said to me "Do you want to go up to him?" but for some reason I couldn't move and I just looked at her and I thought I was being discreet by just shaking my head at her slightly, only later on I realised that my ponytail at the back of my head was simultaniously swinging side to side too. So if he saw the back of my head he'd have known I was saying no too. By that time somebody had run past us and the security guard took out his hand to ask them to keep away, but the lovely Barun said it was ok and took a photo with the fan. Seeing this part of me did think "Oh maybe I could have gone up to him." But never mind I believe these things happen for a reason. I think part of me was reluctant to go up for a few reasons, firstly looking at him I just thought to myself don't create a scene, it seems like he doesn't want to be noticed, let him be and give him a break. Secondly, maybe I'm too old to be running up to him and thirdly I recognised that bloody Security Guard too, the night before when I was getting my autograph from Sanaya he said to someone "Hahaha, she's so small, you wouldn't even notice she was there." So I looked up at him "So can I stay here then?" To which he replied "No." I thought never mind, it was worth a shot. But I thought, say if he makes an inappropriate comment again and that in front of Barun, he might end up ruining my whole experience, so it's best to stay away. (Edited: Just remembered I wasn't wearing a scrap of make up either - didn't help the confidence). But I'm so grateful to a certain someone that let me know what time to be down on Monday morning, which resulted in me getting to say bye to Barun as he left. He was on his way out and in a bit of rush, I didn't even have my camera on me, so I just used my phone to take a quick snap and I am not one of those fans that would obstruct him intentionally, but I couldn't help it and as he walked passed I called out "Bye Barun!" To me it was like, that's it you won't see him again and I swear I wasn't even expecting a response from him, but he looked up with a brief smile and put his hand up in acknowledgement. I was so touched by that small gesture and like you said I promised myself there and then once a fan always a fan.

I really hope we get to meet him again and will definitely find out what aftershave he uses xxx

Personally, although me a female, have always liked men's perfumes better..😆
