After 2 times of banging and one time of music, I got through to SSP today (Sorry though I would love to call every hour I am always surrounded by people at work place and home)

Firstly it was an extremely smooth and pleasant call

The executive's name was Shona

The moment I made the call she said we have no updates.

I said I never asked for updates. I want to give feedback. So she listened

I told her

Point 1: We do not want ASR death scene

Point 2: Do not think people will stop calling if you show death scene. People will hate SP for breaking the hearts of millions as ASR is a very loved character. I told her people will continue to call because SP has created such a good show that has captured the hearts of millions.

I told her people also think this death scene is planned by Star Plus to shut up the calls and protests. But I told her if this happens the backlash will be worse.

Point 3: We do not want to see Khushi with a new man. The Arnav and Khushi story should end with Barun and Sanaya and to continue the show anything can be done like generation leap

Point 4: I told her the show has enough potential to run one more year. I said even before Barun left the Production House was not focusing. I said worse shows with only saas bahu dramas are running for many years. So you can imagine what is happening and how the makers are not bothered to continue it

Point 5: Try replacing the production house and retaining Barun. He has multi tasked with films before and he can do it again.

Point 6: If not possible to retain him, then at least make viewers happy with a good end to the Arnav and Khushi story. Millions of fans will be heartbroken otherwise.

Point 7: I said that since we have no hope from the production house, our only hope is Star Plus. So don't let down millions of national and international audience

Point 8: I said save the show with original cast because this show is one of the best they have and can run for months with proper intervention from star plus

The call ended with the lady telling me she liked my feedback

I ended telling her I know you are harassed by many and you are being patient But we do not want to harass you. Just want our smallest wishes to be fulfilled and we have given you so many options and are not insisting on one demand.

She said Star Plus will definitely do something positive!

Sanaya Irani, Daljeet Bhanot + co cast members, crew, creative team even to the chaiwala of the sets will now have to deal with IPKKND coming to halt.
You were cautioned before when you posted the Ultimatum post and it's demands to see the show end ... of how incredibly unjustified and wrong it was.. you said you changed it.. but you never did.

Now that you have achieved what you blindly set out to do... You are changing your tune, victimising yourself by saying "why blame us?" - Accountability is the highest form of integrity... accept the consequences of a ball you got rolling.

I'm not pointing a finger at you only, I know there are others BUT your posts today are comical and even insulting.

I am her friend and I know this. She had once made a petition for certain things she didn't like in a track once. It got accepted. We saw the changes.

The day Barun's quitting news had come...Rima got 100s PMs asking to create a petition. First, I and her other friends asked her not to stand up and make another one. Because she had been doing that for her friends...for people out of emotions.

Had channel been responsible enough, it would have woken up early and saved IPK from this disaster.

What did Rima do ? Just made a petition. Were you around when she had made other petitions ? There were many which got rejected. WHY?

Because its upto THEM to reject or accept a petition. GET this thing.

And, for your information...Sanaya Irani..YES .."Sanaya I-Rani" had put down her papers along with Sobti.

Believe it or not. Its the truth. There were MANY things going in the background. I don't see it necessary to tell you everything. But I just point out that things were wrong with PH. PH wanted the closure.

Not SP. Not fans. NOT Rima.

Nobody asked show to sut down...We gave them so many options, this was the last one if nothing works out weird they picked the last option clearly because PH is just not interested.
So many other options and they decided to shut this show...
Honestly, it's not even because of that petition, but open letter lol. Go read it lol.
People were ready to make calls so Barun can be back for eding.
If you had problem with fans protesting and calling, you should have start calling for no shutting down IPK instead of blaming everyone here.

So here I am. One last time. For the show. For friends.

This is not a petition.

This is an ultimatum.

And here are the demands.

1) Is Barun Sobti quitting?

Give us clear answers through radio/TV interview of Barun backed by production house and Star plus

2) Is Barun going on a break?

If so end the show. We are no fools to wait and watch till we are fooled again. Or let us know the exact duration of the break. And promise not to change the story. It should still be Arnav and Khushi and no new man for her

3) If Barun is quitting?

If so end the show. IPKKND is nothing without Arnav and Khushi and their special love story. End it because we do not want to watch Khushi with anyone else. End it on a happy note like a fairytale

4) If it is possible to Make Barun stay

Do it. Because this show is nothing without Barun, and Barun and Sanaya chemistry. Do not think of a replacement for him.

5) If he is staying

Do not play with the emotions of tons of fans that have stood by this show for so many months and showered it with love.

Give us the answers we demand!
