UltimateBarun what an amazing post 🤗
U have rightly said that not even SRK, Tom Cruise or any other actor can replace Barun as Arnav. Barun has literally breathed life into the character of ASR. Barun Sobti is such an amazing, splendid & talented actor that words are insufficent to describe them. Always he leaves us speechless by his acting. He is one of the most humble & down to earth actor I have ever seen. I love him both as an actor & as a human being. He is the best & no one can replace him.

EVERY freaking stupid people who even dared to think to replace him or running Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon without him will have to see this and get a reality check!! yes indeed the character is written way too beautifully.. its true.. but the man who put the soul in a fictional character and made is so easy to connect with the character that we literally started living with the character is one and only Barun Sobti. if anyone thinks that someone else can come and play this character is just not possible.. Barun has lived with this character from the beginning and other than him no one.. i repeat NO ONE can understand the character EVER! let alone play it!!

we shivered when ASR got angry..we drooled when he smirked..we smiled when he smiled..we cried when he cried..and why? because it was written well? of course it was ..BUT Barun brought out the best from the character..what will anyone gain by writing a character if it is not portrayed the way it should.. Barun has made ASR what he is today.. its NOT ASR who made Barun Sobti..!!

there is no ASR without Barun Sobti BAS Keh Diya!!
Barun is the one and only ASR--cut it!

Why Barun for ASR? because to us ASR is what Barun has portrayed...yes Gul envisioned the character, the writer/script writer/dialogue writer/director sketched the character...but he gave the life to the character. Need proof? Take the signature ASR phrases...it's the delivery, diction and accompanying facial expressions that take those lines to epic level. Can anyone replace that?

Most of the memorable scenes in IPKKND relating to ASR are the ones with minimal or no dialogues: ASR carrying Khushi home after GH incident, Teej arati, Sorry, poolside fairylight untangling, rangoli holi, diwali , terrace incident, road breakdown and resurrection...to name a few...these scenes make IPKKND what it is today and was made memorable solely by the impeccable acting and expressions by Sobti which transcends medium and touches your heart. NO other actor however great they are, can fit in there.

Like you said Zoha...ASR's soul is Barun Sobti. If you take the soul out...what remains is anything but the character.

And his sizzling chemistry with Sanaya? How can anyone replace that? They sizzled from the minute Khushi fell into ASR's arms...another no dialogue scene...how can anyone come in and replace the chemistry that Barun shares with Sanaya or vice versa. And mind you unlike saas bahu soaps, this couple is the HEART of the serial. If the heart is not perfect, how can the serial be?

So No Barun is NO ASR for me.

Gandhari,,,I am all the more emotional!!What a blessed write u are! yes, who the hell needs a dialogue writer here,, all the raaba ves are right there in our hearts and we can see those scenes the moment we close our eyes! its the chemistry, the body language!!

I Hope we get the results for our efforts!!!!
