First tell me, what are you fighting for?
To keep a man playing a FICTIONAL character in a daily TV show when he clearly said that he does not want to do it based on pure imaginative speculation about great conspiracy theory of which there is no solid proof.
Now let's talk about the consequences of that action,
If the show remains, you don't get to see one man playing a FICTIONAL character on screen... What a great loss. Your REAL life will go on just fine though.
You can still stick to your decision to not watch the show without Barun. But that will require a little work on your part, you need to trust your willpower. I'm sure you have them. Do you trust it enough to stay away if the show continues without Barun? Yes? Then you really don't need to shut down the show, do you? Save your fighting power to fight to stay away from the show. You'll only need to shut down the show if you don't trust your willpower at all to stay away from IPK even without Barun. So in that case what you are really fighting for is your shaky conviction. It's like someone is addicted to sweets and instead of them staying away from the calories, want to close down all neighborhood bakeries taking away their employees' jobs. Their main goal is hidden behind the excuse to show care for other people's dental health... Now that's a conspiracy theory.
If the show is shut down, you still don't get to see Barun (the show is closed, how can you?), your REAL life will go on as smoothly, the only difference is you did not have to exercise your will power to stay away... Congrats, instead of proving your conviction, you removed the temptation. Now that's a potential for future.
But there will be REAL people who will lose jobs. Now major actors are mostly fine considering what they are paid until another job comes through, but minor actors, technicians and spots are paid pittance. Their savings won't last until next job. Which means they won't have food on their table, school fees for children, their bills won't be paid.
Now before you try to avoid that burden on your conscious saying you are not responsible for them or you don't watch IPK for them, neither am I. But I have a conscious and I'd be able to sleep at night knowing that I may not be responsible for them, but I had not done anything to put them in that place without making convenient excuses to my conscious that when I'm opening my Christmas presents, there are some homes who may be going hungry because that's what I gave them for Christmas - a pink slip with a note, "Oops, sorry... But I'm not responsible for your situation, I just wanted to see Barun doing something he does not want to do on my nice TV while surfing the net with my buddies cooing over his hotness..."
Congrats, now if that's not worth fighting for and to boast about, I don't know what is.
