It is time for a change. Change is good. I feel that we should all move ahead with the times and this show needs a revamp as well so it can stay relevant. I love the whole cast in this show, so kudos to the casting director. I have been watching this show from episode 1 because I am a Barun fan from before ipk. I didn't even know who Sanaya was (now I adore her) but in the end this is a collective effort like Sanaya said and the show must go on. My faith was renewed when Viraf's name cropped up. Many shows have done really well after being revamped, some have retained their trps while others have actually gone up, we have the example of Amrit Manthan and Balika Vadhu even BALH.
It is so obvious that Barun is tired, you can see that he is unhealthy. He seems to have a lot of pressure on him so in my opinion I think this was all Barun's decision. We all need to take a breather from time to time, we all need breaks. Barun is not different, he simply needs a break from his job so let him have it. We will see him somewhere else right? In the end it is Arhi and the character of ASR that matters right? People should not confuse reel and real life. I bet if say, Viraf or anyone else was playing ASR from the beginning then his fan following would be sky high as well just like Barun's is right now.
