Sorry to butt in guys but what I gather from his interviews is basically he is a very chilled out sort of a guy who is madly in love with his wife to whom he got married after a lot hardships, he's been working since the age of 17 and I think he was not ready for this kind of stardom And fame... Now he has earned a decent amount of money and now wants to enjoy life with his wife... Heard his interview once that he gets bored easily from doing the same stuff and now considering to venture into BW... There's a forum member named Rickybahl and she wrote couple of posts on him since she is tv journalist or something and she said there's already a negative image building in the tv industry of him based on this whole fiasco.

I think the main reason is he wants to work in films bcz he thinks that if he fails there then he can always come back bcz his fans will welcome him back but I think he is losing a chance of a lifetime by leaving this show bcz roles like ASR r not written everyday... For me sorry to say this but he is not a bankable actor.

So the allegory has been removed and edited, wiped out from the face of the earth. I don't know if I would believe this again. The credibility is certainly lost.

Initially I was very taken with SIs interview.(after readin the WU)

But after hearing the actual interview.

Not at all.

No Miss Irani we don't HAVE to do anything. 'We bunch of people' need not be told what we have to do.

No body in the sets of IPK has even a semblence of respect for fans.

I dislike it a great deal when people say 'they work hard and hence have to be rewarded'

Everyone works hard. Time and again she talked about effort and implied that the fans are doing wrong.

News Flash - The audience is NEVER wrong. That's PR rule 101.

Sobti and Irani perhaps I placed them on a pedastal where they did not belong.

agree with you farheen,the way he is sticking to his decision to take a break after channel,ph and moreover fans pleaded is not very good sigh for his carrier as producers will think its risky to invest on him.

I have read it but it's a fan's perspective that Gul forced him to that interview and he doesn't wanna leave but if he doesn't wanna leave then be could have sorted with the channel at lest and now Sanaya says that he agreed to do the show for one year only and has already extended his stay plus one thing in that Artical was the price of the star event in Birmingham that it will cost 250-300 per couple which is actually more than what I paid for the VIP tickets for SRK's temptation tour... I went on their website and its still 150 for a VIP tickets per couple but that's beside the point what I am trying to say is that even if he signed up for a year only considering his fans requests he could have stayed, take a month's break, get so e rest as the poor man is haggard and tired to death and then come back... I am sure SP will be considerate enough to accommodate him due to the huge demand for this character played by him.
