To be very honest I am not a die-hard Barun Sobti fan, but I loved how he portrayed ASR. I respect all who are part of IPK, and understand that no one other than those directly involved know what the behind-the-scene-story is.

I have however kept a close watch on all the news that kept coming in, and not that Im some great guru, but I am not blind either;

The few things that keep playing in my mind as i hear all the interviews and see the mess, are:
1. Barun Sobti's interview for when he was on a break for the Movie.
He said something like.. he has come all the way from Delhi to Mumbai to be seen, and he will make sure that the viewers get to see him. He said his life is on track, he knows what he is doing and he should be trusted.

2. he often mentioned that he realizes that this is a high time, and that things might not always be this way, and so he feels lucky but both him and his wife keep their guard and not let it get to them.

So today when I heard that NK interview, and he said that he will see how many fans he has left, it was a moment where one realizes that he is fully aware of the damage that this entire thing is doing to him. Yet it is something he knows he has to face.

We are all humans, and we all have our limits/weaknesses/needs. But facing the music is not something every man has the strength to do; and whether people like it or not, Barun Sobti is doing it. He is facing THE music-- the NK interview was meant to be pre-recorded, she had tweeted that herself-- but they scrapped that and he was there live.

The Gul interview, well, his body language didnt seem to go with his words, especially when she mentioned his first break and how he was accommodated and all.

All I can say is, before being an actor he is a human being. What he does is his wish, and should be respected. =)

That interview with Gul was such a load of crap! She seemed so fake and Barun looked like he wanted to get out if there. I will always support Barun and wish him good luck with his career. I'm never ever going to watch a 4 lions production and I'm never going to get so emotionally attached to any drama! Love you Barun always!

i am glad he left...i feel he was pressurized to do so...i never bashed him...i think it is his life and he can do what he wants...he is human too

but i wish all this stuff is cleared now all they mystery and stuff is just too much

i think if he works hard enough he could be the next SRK

I loved BARUN SOBTI who portrayed ASR... and my love and respect for him increases ten fold... He will an actor who will portray any character he was shravan earlier then ASR in future he will be something else, loved BARUN SOBTI for enacting ASR to the tilt... to the perfection... he will be remembered for many years for his role...
