I called Star Plus a few minutes back:

First call - phone went to an answering service, and died
2nd call - phone went to answering service, rang again, was picked up by a woman, and when I said I am calling from the US - she passed it onto some man
I asked why they are throwing Barun out of the show
the customer servie rep said - he is leaving - he has films/tv shows lined up
I said he doesn't have anything lined up
the rep said he needs a break, his movie is coming out in March
I said you guys are throwing him out - he will be jobless for 5 months
I told him I will stop watching SP
He asked me - you want Barun till the end ? You want the show to end on a happy note ?
I said yes - no Barun Sobti, no IPKKND
It was funny how he played the initial game, and only when my voice became demanding, that he relented, and without my stating any requests, he knew what I wanted - BS till the end
He took down my name, location, and e-mail id and said they will e-mail if there is an update
I asked him what his name was - and he said Charles 😆😆
