Just so inconsiderate- The show MUST end!? EDITED

I've seen about 3 topics pretty much repeating the same thing, over and over again.

I find it really insensitive and wrong.
Just inconsiderate.

When Steve Jobs died did Apply say, "lets just stop all Apple productions, screw the Mac, iphones - they're worthless without him!" - What kind of twisted logic is that.
"Forget the livlihoods of all the people who depend on our business- we can't go on without him...?"

I won't deny Barun is HUGE part of IPKKND and one of the main reasons I've watched up until now but to actually DEMAND (make petitions/write emails) to Star Plus/4Lions that the show MUST end because he is leaving OR planning to leave is plainly and simply unfair.

I bet there are a LARGE number of people who count on IPKKND as their source of income - that includes the rest of the cast (yes, those insignificant others!), crew members. costume department, editing, sound, script writers etc etc ---- a huge group of people rely on this show and on principle it's unjustified to beg or demand them to end the show because ONE member has decided to go on break or leave all together.

I get that IPKKND won't be the same without Barun Sobti.

I understand Barun and Sanaya's chemistry is paramount to the show

I know having another actor (regardless of how good he is) portraying Barun will tarnish the memory of all the epic IPKKND Rabba Ve moments

I can foresee the show probably never BEING the same and it could either sink further or continue doing moderately well - BUT GIVE IT A CHANCE at least.

Give them a chance.

At the end of the day no matter, how important it is for us as viewers that Barun Sobti remains a part of the show that is little in comparison to the people (those people above^) who rely on this show as a steady job or source of income.

See, I'm not against petitioning/emailing/complaining against the content shown - for example a new guy for Khushi to fall in love with.

I just think it's just completely unjustified to demand the show to end because one cast member has decided to leave and the PH isn't dealing with the exit in the way we want them too.
i.e. - not replacing ASR but bringing in a new character

Even I hate the idea of Khushi falling in love with a random guy, the only aspect I'm sold to is Viraf part and yes, it's casts an ugly shadow over Aranv and Khushi's love story but we just have to accept that.

By all means, complain/petition/email against the potential track or content but it isn't right to petition for the shows closure.

As with 4Lions ending the show or wanting to end the show - well we can ONLY assume (even if it seems obvious from their past history) but channels have in the past replaced entire production houses and kept the concept of the show.

If they want finish with the show, they're stupid for not realising it's potential and idiotic for not doing it ethically instead of coercing/forcing an actor to quit so it becomes their perfect excuse to close down - BUT then again, can we be sure of that?

I don't think so ... only speculation on our part no?😆

Res.edited-the very first post i saw after i visited if this morning is just close the show.i mean yes it hurts a lot to see khushi without arnav.but didnt you guys have a lil respect for the girl who works as baruns costar and most probably the lead ,the people who works on the sets.if the show ends abruptly then what will happen to them.barun is not the only one this show about.its funny sometimes we became soo selfish that we dont understand the extent of damage our decission can do to other.

Sorry but how long will the show last with the new guy for Khushi??? You think the TRP audience in India will accept a new love story for Khushi??? Then what was it they showed for the past year and half???THe show will be shut down by SP if it doesnt generate revenue or loses its audience...Which will happen to such cases...Arnav and Khushi are and were the USP of the show...Now damaging their character and then running the show ...Cannot be accepted...

I'm not down with Khushi falling in love with some other dude either but I guess then we should quit the show. still on principle, it's not right to demand the whole show to be ended.
If they go down this other love story route, they'll destroy the show themselves BUT we can't be sure of that it might work until Barun is ready to come back - so either way, IPKKND should be given a chance to sink or swim.

As viewers, if we don't like what we see, we should change the channel not send petitions, emails etc about them ENDING the show.

I'm all for emails/petitions against Khushi falling in love with another random man but not for ones about ending the show.

Viraf Phiroz Patel is coming as dad for Aaarav and later he will be opposite Khushi

I will give show a chance cause of Sanaya Irani!! also Viraf Phiroz Patel is good actor

My issue is with games being played between the actor and the channel and the PH. The result is damage to the show which seems beyond repair at this stage.

Well - YOU or ME can't be SURE of that.
That's the point - the TRP audience in India might reject the new love story or might love it because it's something different.
We DON'T know what it means.

BUT on principle, it's WRONG to not give the show, actors, crew and co a chance - us sending emails, petitions, open threats or whatever that the show MUST end because Barun has taken leave or has left is unjustified.

Those people rely on the show for employment.
What we like as viewers is not as important in comparison to that fact.

No matter how much you don't agree with what they're showing.
I'm all for emailing and petitioning against them starting a love story but I HATE the idea of demanding the show to be ended. Simple.
