Of all the sweet joys a woman encounters,
how does she respond to when her husband asks her for a baby?
To sit on the bed together, and feel his hands envelope hers,
and look into her eyes and whisper his love,
As she gasps next to his lips, struck by the intensity of his words, the promise of his love,
and realises in that moment how real this all was...
This beautiful man beside her, his beautiful baby that she'd always dreamt of,
was it really time to fulfill those dreams she'd harboured as a young girl,
Could such happiness really be hers? To carry the child of the man she loved with all her heart,
Could it be true? That he too fantasized about saving a pregnant Khushi from knocking against the door or eating jalebis too many?
Oh sweet God! Was she really so fortunate to be able to conceive a baby with him? Their baby! :D
Of all the joys a woman encounters,
this, is perhaps the sweetest! :)
