As for NK it would be fun if it works out, provided that Sheetal does not have an evil streak. From the looks of it, she doesnt seem evil, i guess her role was changed from what was initially planned. I read on another forum, desi**fo***, that according to their sources Sheetal will confide in Khushi that Aarav is Arnavs son, and would not want the matter to be disclosed to Arnav, but Khushi being herself will confront Arnav and the 2 will have a fight. So if their version is correct, NK and Sheetal stand a slim chance.

@Bold - I have been thinking that - earlier the ME's used to have major twists / revelations.. but not now..Or is it that not since LM left the show?

I am wondering if the planning wasn't right and hence they couldn't progress enough into the story to bring the major plot in ME.. quite possible - right?

Not too sure whether it's cause of LMs absence or that is how they have planned it. I mean, most of the time the Maha epis were just Maha in terms of time not story. I usually can't tell when LM is on board and when not unless the forum is talking about it. I judge based on what I see -- this was good and that was bad- and then I log in and find out, OH this was LM's work, and that wasn't.. 😆

I doubt that they were planning to show more during the ME, I guess this is all the progress they wanted. Also they have been asking for input on future tracks, so till they have another track planned out they will need to make this one last.

@Sheetal--If she is still testing her chances with Arnav, then i would not want her with NK, cause that would reflect her character in a way.. i mean.. he is a married man now.

However if she is a determined lady who just 'happened' to cross paths with her ex, (who happens to be her kids biological father), but treats these facts as a thing of the past and is ready to move on; then I think she is good for NK.

So now - at a high-level I can tell the difference - I think so.

I think they just want to give an outlet to fans and may be if some ideas are good they will use it.. But this is really just what I think. This the first and only serial I have been so addicted to..so I don't know what happens/ can happen in the life of a daily show 😲

The PH asking for ideas seemed as unrealistic as a PH ruining its own show. I would certainly not have believed it if i hadnt read their official post on their official forum.
My take is that IPK became way too big for them, a kind of, too much to handle situation. Fans are the core of their success and after the mess, in terms of PR and story, they cannot risk losing any more fan following. So yes they are taking input and they will build on what the majority votes for (that is my analysis).
IPK is my first too 😊, i have never regularly watched, let alone actively participate in a show discussion. So that is the 2nd thing we have in common after sports😆

Well, I don't see Arnav as a perfect character. He is/was pretty flawed, but I cannot imagine him impregnating a friend and not knowing. After all his family history about betrayal by his father and him having to grow up without one, such a plot would be hard to buy. But it is plausible at the same time. She was his girl friend, and lonely people do act irrationally at times. So this can be a product of a weak moment. For me, his son or not, both work as long as it is dealt with properly 😊

Well when I said perfect character - I meant morally... I think the way they portrayed the things he did to Khushi - was like - he was trying to resist Khushi and in those attempts he made mistakes... And he is always shown repenting on the wrongs done to anyone and taking corrective action.. thus showing that moral values are intact..

Hence that way - although they implied that he was ready for a live-in relationship with Lavanya.. they always showed him keeping a distance from Lavanya..

Got my point.. and that's why I feel PH will not show him to be Aarav's biological father..

It may not go well with Indian audience - I think..

But yeah.. I don't want to interfere into PH / CVs work.. I think they gave us an amazing story.. then lost focus... and now they seem to be getting back on track..

Like you - my expectation is they should deal with these sensitive matters reasonably.. let it be a fair play... no back stabbing.. let there be some intelligent mind games !

- when I read that again - let me say - I don't know what I want.. and I don't even know what I do'nt want as a story line..

Just give me enough ARSHI scenes to make ANY track bearable 😆
