Exactly. I was telling my friend this and she was shocked.

To hear me say that I like Ekta now.. I hated her shows.. but they had something to it.. especially the strong woman character I think.. that I always liked..

Her shows dragged.. and had predictable tracks.. but she never neglected any of her shows!!! That's why her shows ran for years.. even though actors left.. !!

Don't know if this can be trusted. I did hear about that Sanjay Leela Bansali show.. but didn't know htey were thinking of using IPK slot..

and my reaction to that.. Yayyy!! Finally IPK will end.. and put us out of this misery!

I agree, eventhough her tracks are predictable and cheesy and not different but looks like the way her shows go on air for years she must be doing good job as a ph head.

She surely knows how things to be treated as a responsible ph not to fulfill actors all demands when asked at the cost of butchering the whole base of the story.

And that is why her actors stick on to her and she never forgets them... she has repeated given work to her loyal actors!!
