I think the awards are given based on character's being portrayed. Always the more serious and different roles get recognised. Sanaya is playing a bubbly and chirpy small town girl so that doesn't fit the criteria. Also Drashti is playing similar kind of role so she didn't win but her co-actor Vivian Dsena won award.

Wow. I am meeting a Bangladeshi on India Forums! Amazing. My parents families live in Dhaka. I went there in 2009. Didn't really have a good experience.
