4 Lions are CRAZY to just end the show! But the dumb statements they make like "The story has run it's course", "Romance ends after marraige, happily ever after"!! What nonsense??
What world are they living in? Those were FAIRY TALES that end at Happily ever after! This story is about a journey of a couple from Hate to love to misunderstanding back to love! NOW their love has conquered enough for them to get married!
The journey from this point will be to stay together and learn to be a "Unit" which is something they are yet to do! The "Post Marriage" story can be interesting if executed well!
THIS track is getting backlash for obviouse reasons! The couple are "Newly Weds" and have to contend with a Blast from the past and a Clone kid! Khushi is getting paranoid and Arnav is getting neglectful! THIS would have been a storyline for 3 months after marriage, not 3 WEEKS after! Also, people are NOT identifying with THIS version of ASR, who seemed to be B Ball playing carefree "Fresh prince of Bel Air" type guy! This is NOT the ASR we know! Even in collage he was the SAME person! Intorverted and intense! Not Rahul from Khuch Kuch Hota Hain!
I SWEAR when I watched that B Ball game the song "Deewana, Deewana" from KKHH was playing in my head! (This was when I still watched B'wood movies)!!THAT is how similar the "Collage B Ball buddies" theme was! It was VERY entertaining, but this charachterisation of ASR as "Carefree" is NOT! He wants to WIN! So I can beleive the competitive streak! But LETTING Sheetal win is NOT his charachter! Not even THEN! He never lets ANYONE win! The only time he did was when he helped Khushi to win the Sangeet!
THAT is why people critisize the current track! You CAN'T CHANGE a main charachters personality to suit a track! It is NOT done! Especially a Cult favourite like ASR! You do NOT mess with a golden equation like that!
