Hey guys!
Today I'm going to talk about the episode slightly but my main focus will be Sheetal.

After watching the promo, I saw a vulnerable Sheetal. My first impression was that Sheetal had seen a lot of hardship and I immediately thought that she may be a widow. Now hear me out. Firstly, I know promos are often misleading, but Sheetal looked very lost. As Aarav said, she was keeping a fast for his dad. Then why was she so reluctant to speak about him? Why does she feel awkward and almost saddened when she sees Aarav bonding with Arnav? Why is she refusing to tell Aarav who his father is?

Ever since Sheetal's entry, everyone has been so sure that she entered the show to drive a wedge between Arnav and Khushi. But can anyone tell me anything she has physically done to draw a wedge between them? We all fell into the trap laid by the CVs after their first meeting; after seeing Sheetal's shock at discovering Arnav was married we all thought of it as jealousy. Could it not just be shock? You find out a close friend of yours got married, so you'll obviously be surprised. Sheetal genuinely didn't want to intrude on the family when she came to pick Aarav up after he fainted & she refused the job when she discovered Arnav would be her boss. Maybe some of her pride had set in there and she didn't want to work below him. Sheetal has never been rude to Khushi except in her imagination & she was genuinely upset when she discovered Khushi had done a DNA test. Sheetal was never out to separate ArHi. It is evident that she thinks of Arnav as a friend; both of them feel awkward when they find themselves being in close proximity but neither are interested in each other in that way. Aarav being a mini-ASR was obviously done to throw us off and remove any doubt of the identity of Aarav's father - yet the father certainly isn't Arnav. Khushi misinterpreted the situation by herself & Sheetal didn't plant doubt in her mind. However, I am sure that Aarav's father has some connection to the Raizadas. Or maybe the 'SR' could stand for something completely different. You never know with this show! All I know is that Sheetal is deeply troubled & she wants to leave the past behind her; maybe the past of the man that she lost. The fact that she is keeping a fast for him indicates that they didn't separate on bad terms.

After watching today's episode I didn't see what everyone else saw; I didn't see Arnav being an insensitive idiot & this isn't my inner fangirl speaking.

First of all, when Arnav told Khushi to learn the rules of basketball before playing, he didn't mean it in a malicious way. He was teasing her. If you guys recall, he was smiling at her after she shot that basket and while he watched her dance in celebration. He wasn't being rude to her.

When Arnav and Sheetal bumped into each other, both were very quick to move away from each other - this once again shows the awkwardness between them. Even when Arnav hated Khushi he found himself spellbound by her, so does this pacify those who see something between Arnav and Sheetal? The challenging had flirty undertones but doesn't it always? Flirting in itself is harmless, and we have to remember that Arnav probably still has the thought of Khushi not trusting him in his mind so he'd want to make her feel a bit jealous.
The end of the basketball match was a beautiful scene where everyone celebrated with Aarav, yet it looked odd. This is because either Aarav's father or Khushi should have been in one of the places. It was very much a father celebrating the success of his child sort of a scene. But Aarav and Arnav make such a lovely duo that I don't mind 😆 Again, Arnav's fatherly instincts come into play when he warns Aarav to not eat the jalebi. But he's only speaking like that because he feels a connection with Aarav. He treats him as he would have liked to be treated when he was younger. He doesn't want to be Aarav's father, but he sees the absence of a father figure in Aarav's life; he just wants to provide him with some guidance and be a role model for him - something he never got from his father or his uncles. Could Arnav be his uncle? It's a definite possibility.

When Nani started her 'Aarav is a mini Chotte' speech Arnav was quick to cut her off and ask of Khushi's whereabouts instead. No, it wasn't because he just realised she was missing, it was more because he didn't want her to have heard all of that. He knows how doubtful she is over Aarav's father & he doesn't want to add to her doubts; he hasn't yet realised how affected Khushi was by the basketball match. During that match we saw a competitive Arnav who wanted to win regardless of anything else - his mind was on victory, not on Sheetal but Khushi didn't realise that. I'm glad that he was the one to ask about her, and he asked her where she went, proving that he was concerned about her.

Sheetal looked at the photos and his them from Khushi. Did she deliberately drop the photos of her and Arnav? I don't know. But I can't help but think that the photos above those had someone else in them; there is someone we're missing here. Khushi is sure that Sheetal can't let go of Arnav when the truth is entirely different. But how will Arnav remove these doubts from her mind? Before it was Khushi not trusting the past ASR but after the DNA debacle she should surely believe him. A few photos and some competition between two individuals is not enough to suggest they still have feelings for each other - I challenge guys at school all the time in a friendly way! People would call it flirting but it's just banter.

The precap... Suggests that we're in for a couple of fillers before ME dhamaka.

I liked the episode today & I liked how we saw what a big effect everything was having on Khushi. She's insecure because of Sheetal's presence and I want Arnav to realise that. Plus, I don't think her worries will last long - looks like something will start brewing between Sheetal and NK soon! Sorry Rits!

OMG I forgot the most important thing that happened today - we have a new Prakash! Unless he came during the week at some point and I missed him 😆
