Oh well.. the professional camera will do wonders... like Khushi's rainbow colored dress on ARSHI sagai!! It didn't look as bad on screen..!

But I don't buy the argument that they have tried to match with some image..

Its all imaginary ! If someone tries to match with that, as you said - it may not look good on screen.

And while I agree satin will look good (I will say "may" look good) on screen.. its not necessary that other textures won't. Don't rich silk look good? Don't the Bharatnatyam dancers look good on screen? Theirs is mostly silk..
