I am back with a post after some weeks coz the current situation warrants comment!
I know that there is a general mood of "Oh no" and depressed feelings RE the spoilers that we have received about the possibility of ASR being the father of this child! I personally am not thrilled because I wanted him to experience Fatherhood with Khushi! (Since she is the women he truly loves).I wanted them to experience parenthood for the first time together! I STILL want that for them, as my personal wish!
However, having said that, let's wait and watch how they intend to let this track unfold! I honestly don't know what these CV"s are trying to do, but personally I am trying to take it with a grain of salt! This "Baby Momma" track may have more to it than meets the eye!
I was NOT happy when I read the spoiler and then I thought, maybe the whole POINT is to take the audience and even ARSHI and the rest of the RM people down the path of THINKING the child is ASR's only to have things take a turn later!
I think ASR will ACCEPT Aarav as his son, and start trying to be a Father to him! Then he will find out he is NOT the Father and he will feel hurt for sure! Once you start to care for a child, it is hard to let go of those feelings!
Maybe this is when he will say he wants to have kids with Khushi?? He may realize that he DOES want to be a Father! I have seen tracks like this in Western shows, where a guy is lead to believe he Fathered a child only to find out he is NOT the Dad and feel used and let down!
I think THIS is what is going to happen in the end here too! It is a TERRIBLE thing to do to a person!
One thing IS established! Some sort of relationship beyond a "Platonic" friendship was present between ASR and Sheetal for him to ACCEPT the possibility of being the Dad! It could have been a brief affair, or even a one night stand on graduation night at a drunken party etc. Something did happen, so he may have to accept he COULD be the Father! The DNA test will come back positive so he has to accept it! Don't ask me how DNA tests will lie, but there could be an explanation for that which we will only see later! (IF the CV's don't intend to make Aarav ASR's son for good!).
Point to Note: I think people need to GIVE UP this idea that ASR was "Chaste" before Khushi! He was NOT! Nothing wrong with it! He was NOT cheating anyone! He had his OWN beliefs RE relationships and he did not think they were meant to LAST! (Case in point the way his parents' marriage ended)! His experience with his parents made him a cynic, and he didn't think there was any point in making commitments only be betrayed later.
He lived on THIS philosophy until he met Khushi and FELL IN LOVE! Now LOVE makes him do everything he promised not to do! Be a husband, a lover and a life partner to someone! A women and HER happiness has become MORE important to him than his EGO! Everything he promised himself he would NEVER do, now he has done for love!
THIS is the story of IPKKND, The story of how "True Love" conquered a man, and bought two people who had nothing in common together in love and life! NOT of ASR being "Pure"!! Just because he was not physically PURE, does not detract from the PURITY of the LOVE he has for Khushi! I don't understand why people can't SEE that??
So let us all let these people TELL the story they are planning to tell, and reserve judgment to see where this goes! Seeing how this "Bomb" in the middle of their lives will affect ARSHI and also the rest of RM will be worth a watch! As long as it is NOT a total cliche and also does not ruin the love story, I am willing to give it a chance! (Dont want to see "SACRIFICING" Khushi!!). Please save us from that!
