"Isha get up."
I sleepily slid out of my bed, eyes still closed.
"Isha don't make me come up there! I have a meeting to go to. "
He was so irritating. My dad never had time for me or my sisters.
I went and lay back down again. I slowly closed my eyes and there she was once again, arms open, just waiting to embrace me. I ran into her warm comforting arms.
"Amma, now you see! Papa is always ordering us around. He never has time for us. I'm sure he has a meeting or something else to rush to." I looked up at her with a complaining look. She smiled and her eyes sparkled.
"Soon meri jaan, just be patient. Your Papa needs your love and patience. Go get ready and have your breakfast beta" She spoke in her sweet gentle voice. She kissed my hair. I could almost smell her lovely jalebi smell.
"He needs you the most Amma. Papa hasn't been the same since you left us. He is always busy and he never plays or spends anytime with us!
Please come back Amma." I pleaded.
She had vanished. I let her loving, kind, face hang in my memories for a minute as a single tear slid down my cheek. I knew she could never return to the four of us.
She was gone forever!
